This car has never been in an Accident. and has had NO body work or paint work in 31 years. The paint is in Excellent condition considering the age. Everything on this car works. This is a turn key classic. Most 240's you find need 2-3 thousand dollars in body/paint work. another few thousand dollars in A/C System (blower motor. compressor. tc. ). Also. most 240's you find need maintenance work. This one NEEDS NOTHING but a driver. You MUST see to truly appreciate. A real head turner. You WILL NOT find a cleaner. better well maintained 240. NO RUST whatsoever. NO LEAKS.

There are a few spots on the paint where bird droppings have etched through. But not bad. A few very small chips. Car has never been hit or in an ACCIDENT! Clean CarFax. And NO PAINT WORK. I do not plan on touching up the chips or doing anything with the paint. I would hate to take away from it's originality. Straight Body. Clean floor pans. Absolutely NO RUST.

My father owned a Volvo repair shop in Charlotte NC for over 25 years and has checked out this car head to toe. He is currently a service writer at Volvo of Charlotte and his mechanics performed the timing belt and water pump. as well as a 127 point inspection.

The A/C system works like new. Blows ICE COLD. Blower motor shows no sign of wear. Heat blows WARM. Dealer added Cruise Control that still works! I have a manila folder full of all repairs and maintenance performed on this vehicle dating back to the original owner.

The Timing belt and Water pump are being done this week. Odometer shows 90. 00 miles. However. the car has 130. 00 miles. I am taking the vehicle to a local speedo repair shop in Greensboro to have speedometer instrument cluster completely rebuilt so odometer and clock works again ($350 repair). Includes a 1 year warranty. If you know your 240's; you know this is a common theme across all year models. and causes no issues whatsoever with the vehicle itself.

Volvo factory floor mats. Volvo oil pressure and Volt gauge. Dealer installed trailer hitch/tow package. Genuine Volvo Trunk Mat. Original Spare tire (never used). Volvo dealer installed rear headrests.

Tires less than 2 years old. Recent: Ball joints replaced. Alignment. replaced alternator brush set. replace rear shocks (2015). replaced A/C belt. Oil change just performed. replaced front and rear brake pads (December 2016). replaced right front caliper (12/16). Timing belt and water pump this week. completely rebuilt speedometer cluster with 1 year warranty.

Updated Bluetooth/USB Radio/CD Player. New Pioneer speakers.
