1945 WILLYS MB WW2 JEEP GPW NICE WINTER PROJECT for sale

1945 Willys MB jeep for restoration. GENUINE 2ND WORLD WAR. Chassis number MB442*** DOD MAY 15th 1945. Just imported from Texas as an unfinished project. CHASSIS is excellent apart from a plate welded on the right front leg (see picture) otherwise the best I have seen. all been shot blasted and painted. Has a new rear crossmember and front gussets with new imitation rivet bolt sets to fit.  AXLES have been blasted and painted. NEW wheel bearings.  brake shoes. wheel cylinders. springs U bolts and shackles. ENGINE rebored new pistons. crankshaft reground new shells. new ex valves. new valve springs. shot blasted inside and out and painted. nbsp;all done in the states (have pictures). Have had it running with a 12volt coil and battery. sounds great and good oil pressure. HEAD cast "WILLYS" and "JEEP" as it should for 1945. GEARBOX correct T84 with new bearings. Correct TRANSFERBOX. all shot blasted and painted. and all works as it should.   Correct ROSS STEERING BOX will need a overhaul as it is a bit stiff. nice original steering wheel. BODY TUB is in very reasonable condition. was shot blasted in the states and needs work or you may think  a new one is the best for you. FRONT WINGS are very good and saveable but need work. BONNET very good and the FRONT PANEL  and the WINDSREEN FRAME is excellent for their age. as some writing on the inside. max speed. tires 35 etc. hence not been shot blasted. FRONT LIGHTS are rust free. New professionally made DATE/VIN PLATES correct type. Had it running and does drive but no brakes. needs brake master cylinder. and also needs hand brake drum and back plate. late type same as cj so not hard to find. I have a CARTER CARB to go with it. needs a overall. the CARB ON IT DOES NOT GO WITH IT. same goes for the battery. Not uk register but have H M Revenue & Customs 386 stating all duty paid. TAX exempt and now MOT EXEMPT. nbsp;All parts available from JEEPARTS UK.  Nice WINTER PROJECT. Getting really thin on the ground here and in the states now. May be able to deliver.
