. . THIS MORRIS TRAVELLER IS PRICED TO SELL. T DOES NEED SOME COSMETICS BUT REPRESENTS GOOD VALUE AND A SOUND INVESTMENT !   .  

 Morris Traveller with 1300 CC  engine  5 speed gearbox (Toyota). prated suspension & better servo assisted disc  brakes. I understand from the previous owners  that it was subject to the Classic restoration by Charles Ware at the Morris Minor Centre of Bath (now Bristol) in 2002. . . the work done at that time includes their classic upgrade . 1300 cc engine. peed gearbox. toyota) disc brake conversion with servo. and uprated . (marina) suspension etc

There was also a guarantee on the chassis which Charles Ware restored and although this  is now out of date . he certificate is available in  a huge history file and  and includes lots of invoices for servicing and  work carried out over the years !

. he Taxation class  is "Historic vehicle"  so its Free & its MOT'd to October. . it could do with some TLC. but a lovely example of this iconic classic !(ok so its a 40 plus year old Moggy Traveller !)

obviously its cheap to Insure. ree tax and the usual moggy reliability and fuel economy !

it drives well. the bodywork is good. but on close inspection could do with localised attention to the paintwork. this could obviously done " bit by bit  "whilst the car is "earning its living"!or  if you want to spend more a full respray .

The wood is good and solid but the patina is a little flat and i intended to rub it down and re varnish it to bring it up to that classic Rich traveller  varnished Ash finish !

The front seats have  at some stage been replaced with what i think are  Wolseley 1500 leather seats which although are not  "original" are more comfortable. nd of course for the purist  easily returned to original !

All in all a good car. hat with a little paintwork . nd the wood re varnishing and some fiddling with could be brought up to show standard !
i  imagined doing this "bit by bit" but i have recently had a stoke and this has made me realise how many different projects i have on the go ! So I  have decided to sell most of  my cars and my boat to give myself more time in retirement !

Usual ebay stuff please dont mess me about. . have been as honest as i  can. ut there"s no short cut to seeing what your buying to satisfy yourself by viewing it close up

we live on the welsh borders . 5 miles north of Hereford. 0 miles west of ludlow and about 60 miles south west of Birmingham !

it is likely to be advertised elsewhere. have realistically priced the car to make it an attractive proposition with regards to condition So. if you intend to  make offers please be realistic !  I HAVE NOT LOADED TO PRICE TO ALLOW FOR SILLY OFFERS !

AS previously stated the reason i am selling this and my narrow boat  tug and other cars(another morris traveller a  rolling stones ltd edition golf convertible and an MR2)  is due to a recent stroke. !
