THE OVERVIEW
Offered for an appreciating new owner is this beautiful classic 1966 Buick Riviera coupe!
This 99. 9% rust-free 1966 Buick Riviera is powered by a great running 345 HORSEPOWER 425ci Nailhead V8 with 465 foot pounds of torque. mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission and is optioned with A/C. center console. rear speaker. and bucket seats. This lovely 50 year-old specimen recently received [within the last 2. 00 miles] $11k in maintenance including an R134 A/C conversion. new water and fuel pumps. rebuilt carburetor. and a refreshed suspension.  Redesigned for the 1966 model year. the Riviera wore a longer. wider. more curvaceous body than its generation predecessor. Originally finished in Riviera Champagne Poly (SS). the car received a color change in a deep maroon metallic paint finish. The working five-digit odometer shows just over 23. XX miles but the actual mileage is believed to be 123. XX miles. This classic Riviera is being sold with clean and clear California title and current may. 2017 registration.  

THE BODY AND TRIM
The burgundy Mist metallic paint retains a deep luster and contrasts nicely with the factory chrome trim. This '66 Riv sports "GS" badging from a later generation Riviera fitted to the lower front panels. the. 15″ Rally wheels show some light nicking upon close inspection but remain in good condition. They are fitted with a newer set of steel-belted radials.  The undercarriage shows well for its age with road grime but no apparent signs of rust through or damage.

THE INTERIOR
The interior of this 1966 Riviera features extra clean redone upholstery. a straight dash. and well-preserved trim accents. Delivered from the factory in Light Fawn (Dove). the interior received a color change by a previous owner in the current matching deep red. Additional modifications include a pair of accessory gauges mounted under the dash. as well as an aftermarket stereo fitted in the glovebox. Aside from the horn and factory Delco Sonomatic radio. all gauges. indicators. and electronic accessories are in excellent working order. The odometer shows 23k miles and is believed to have rolled once. The seat upholstery  retains taut surfacing on both the front buckets and rear bench seat. Carpets and door panels present equally well and display no outward signs of imperfection. The expansive trunk remains clean and complete with its carpeted floor and full size spare located below.
