This truck was bought new in Nashville Tn. and the original owner kept it until 1965 and sold it to a family friend who kept it for 50 years until I bought it. The gentleman I bought it from kept it inside and told me he rarely drove it over those 50 years just replacing batteries. brakes. fluids and fuel tank. then driving it down the road and putting it back in his warehouse. This truck being taken care of all these years has an almost rust free body. bed and frame. The only rust is in the bed where the original owner kept a tarp and it created a small rust hole in the bed about 2" dia. The truck has had one repaint sometime before 1965 and it still has good shine but has chips and normal wear but it looks very presentable for an original 84 year old truck. It is all steel with no signs of any body parts ever being replace or repaired or filler before it was painted. It has had one of the rear fenders repaired with a small rod at the top. probably from a fender split before it was painted. but is was a very minor repair and has held up fine. It does have the original running boards with the original covers and the drivers side has had a small repair that I can tell you about if your interested. Since the truck is very rare I wanted to keep it original but I did change some things in order to make it more street worthy but I kept every original part I removed or upgraded. It has New Tires. Rewired with 12 Volt/ Alt. . Coil. Turn Signals. New Taillights. New Gas Tank. New Plug Wires. Plugs. Points. Cap. Running Lights on bumper. Added a 12 volt plug-in and a tray under dash to hold Am/Fm/CD Player Unit which also can be set out to keep the truck looking original. I have as shown in the pictures items that I found under the seat and I THINK they are original to the truck. The Jack. jack handle. tire tool. valve stem tool. and engine crank. The other items are things I removed that also go with the truck. This is a good running. driving. starting. and stopping vehicle that is very dependable and I would drive anywhere if your not in a hurry. it will probably run 80 mph but it likes 50-55. Bottom line . this is probably one of the Most Solid. Original. Un-restored. Un-cut 1933 or 34 Dodge trucks left and while it is not a show truck I think you will be very pleased with it. Now the bad. I will not sell this truck out of the U. S. (only because it needs to stay here. we have lost enough of our history). Truck is sold AS IS with no Warranty or Promises so please call me with any questions and come look at the truck before you bid. Thanks. Larry 615-289-2777
