70 Dodge Challenger T/A clone. selling to finance a new home on my farm.

Mechanical - 383 big block (YES it is a 383. YES it is dressed as a 340. to be T/A correct). 727 automatic transmission. stall converter. 650 Holley Double Pumper 4 barrel carb. 8-3/4 Sure Grip (Posi/Limited Slip) rear end with a 4. 10 or 4. 56 ratio. Accel Ignition. transmission does leak a small amount of ATF. new exhaust and tips with new Flowmaster wannabe mufflers appearing as a T/A should. new rear air shocks (they leak a little. I believe I need to replace one of the O rings). new wheels and tires (rears are 295/50/15 = SWEET!). 4 wheel drum brakes were rebuilt but I snapped off 2 of the bleeders so there is some air in the lines. steering box is in like new condition (the car does not wander whatsoever. like these old MOPARS are famous for). power steering.   Accelerates quickly due to the low gears.   Runs and drives very nice.

Interior - Near show quality. new seat upholstery. new headliner. new carpet. other interior panels have been refurbished to a rich black showing little wear. new dash cap. console is in perfect shape.

Electronics - new Sony head unit (CD. AM. FM. USB. & 3. 5 MM Aux connection for IPOD or MP3 player). new Sony 6x9 speakers in the rear. new 4x6 Sony speaker in the front dash; all professionally installed. headlights and dimmer works. horn works. blinkers work. flashers work. brake lights work. dash and console lights work. no ground issues with any exterior or interior lights.   All tail light. reverse. marker light. and blinker light lenses are crack free. not faded badly. and are in excellent shape.

Glass – Good shape. no chips or cracks in the windshield. the driver window has a rough edge on the very top edge that isn't noticeable when the window is up or down.

Trim & Chrome – Good shape. it's all there. the chrome on the rear bumper has seen better days but it's good enough for a driver. the front hood trim is new. there are 4-5 marks on the driver's side drip rail trim but it might buff off. the front headlight bezels of the grille have some small dents and spots where the chrome is rubbed off. new fuel door. new hood pins and lanyards.   I do have the original fender tag and a replica TRANS AM - T/A fender tag (I will add pictures of them this weekend).

Paint  - driver quality. 2. 5 years old. single stage PPG I believe. the paint color is the 2010 Challenger color: Furious Fuchsia (chick magnet   :)    ). there are a few paint flaws that I made sure to take pictures of on the Photobucket link. the flaws are: a 7” diameter spot on the roof that was buffed thru. some paint is bubbling and chipped off on the trunk lid (because of poor prep. NOT due to rust. the bottoms of the rocker did not get a complete shot of color. the rear wheel lips also did not receive a full shot of color. door jambs are also driver quality. since the car is a driver and since it's been nearly 3 years since being painted there are isolated scratches from normal use around the car which have been touched up with the correct color (I will include the touch up paint I bought for the car for your future needs). also the paint could use a buff or wax to make it super shiny again. undercarriage has been repainted semigloss black. trunk was painted semigloss black (it would look really nice with a factory trunk mat).

Body – The hood is a factory steel hood that has had a T/A scoop professional epoxied on and blended in (the underside of the hood has been reinforced in a similar manner as they do with Shaker hood conversions). the only rust on the car prior to painting it was the rear quarters and a small spot on the driver's floorboard (repaired properly). partial quarters were welded in and were done very nicely. the driver side rear quarter does have a little waviness to it. there is no rust and no signs of rust or bubbling anywhere on the car. the bottom seams of the doors are like brand new. no rust on the inner fenders either.

Clear title: no liens or prior damage disclosure.

Here's a link to 60 close up pictures. including close ups of all flaws (I point them out. not hide them):

Email or call with questions.   I have sold 3 classic cars on Ebay in the past with no problems.

I welcome international buyers and will patiently work with you while you arrange transportation.   I will need the full payment within a week of the auction's end. /u> but I can keep the car as long as needed in my dry storage building while you arrange shipping (I realize it can take a few weeks).   Also. if you chose to pay with ANY type of check. the car will NOT leave my yard until it clears.   I prefer an Electronic Funds Transfer or cash.

I hope it goes to a good home. and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Thanks. br> Dale
