WHEEL DRIVE. HORT BED. ROJECT TRUCK Up for sale is a 1968 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pick up truck. It is a factory 4WD. short bed truck and is a very hard truck to find. I saw one of these sell at Barrett Jackson car auction last year for over $80. 00 in restored condition got a bug up my ass to buy one and add it to my car collection.  I wound up buying it in a package deal with a Hummer H1 and after looking at it for 6 months and not touching it. I decided I want the parking space back.  

I purchased it in exactly the same condition it sits now and have very little information about it's history. What I do know is that I purchased it out of California and it has been there for some time as indicated by the stack of registration stickers on the California license plates it has. As per the vin # it is a factory V8. 4WD truck that was build in Fremont. California.

It was not running when I purchased it but it looks like everything under the hood is all hooked up and was running not too long ago. It has a small block Chevy motor. 4 speed manual transmission and the transfer case all intact. It had 3/4 ton or 1 ton front and rear ends installed in it but they are not hooked up including the brake lines and missing the drives haft. The rear end is a 14 bolt and currently has 20 inch 8 lug wheels on it.

The frame and underbody looks to be in nice shape without any rust issues. What you see is what you get and I don't have any more information or any extra parts with it.
