30. 60 original miles!

I purchased this car locally.   It was from the second owner. He purchased it when it was 1 year old.   It was his baby.   He bought it after getting out of the military.   He is old and wanted to pass it on to someone that would appreciate it.   For me it was my dream car. a black mach 1 351c. 4 speed. shaker. original paint. and 30k miles.   At the price. it just doesn't get any better.

The car has had body work to the rear right quarter.   He spun out and put it into the snow bank and when the wrecked pulled it out. it caused some damage.   The prior owner had it touched in.   There is some rust on it (like all fords) but nothing that cannot be fixed with a small patch.   Both toe boards have rust.   Torq boxes are good.   If you were to restore it. I would put a new lower plate on. which is easy to do.   Everything is there for the Shaker.   The engine was blown and the owner put another 70' 351c in the car.   It currently has 456 gears and I have the original gear for the car.   I also have the rear sway bar and the original rims if wanted.   This car was a hub cap car and I have the hub caps too.

To drive the car. you would need new tires.   The car has always had aviation fuel in it. so the fuel system it excellent.   The carb needs to be rebuilt.   It will drive down the road. but has no snort!  Passages are most likely plugged from sitting.   Brakes work good.   This car has been driven every summer up until I purchased it.   So. it shouldn't need much to go to the car shows.

The interior is real nice.   The driver's seat has a small flaw.   All the interior lights work and so do all the outside lights.   Again. tires and a carb rebuild and you should be ready to go.

I put this up as a buy it now price and it is an awesome price.   I don't expect it to run the course of the auction. but if you want to make an offer. send it to me via ebay.   Don't call me and think you are going to talk me down.   It is a waste of time.   I am not looking to resell it to a car dealer.   I would truly like to see a person that has always been looking for a car like this to own it.   However. it is a first come basis. so don't mess around if you want it.   I have sold many cars to car dealers and abroad.  

If you are an international buyer. I would want an additional $500. $17. 00.   I have had some good dealings and some terrible ones. internationally.   It doesn't make it fair to the good guys. but a local sale will be much easier.  

However you look at it. this car is unique and rare!

The car has inside storage and will work with the winning bidder to load.
