This is my 1979 Z/28. which I've owned since 1995.   I've kept it in a heated garage as long as I've owned it. and the previous owner did as well.   I'm selling it because I just don't drive it often enough to justify keeping it.

Some options on the car are T-tops. automatic transmission. air conditioning. power windows & locks. cruise control. and aluminum wheels.   The AC works well. as do the power windows and cruise.   The factory 8-track also works and is a cool nostalgic touch.

This car has been well cared for. and is in good condition as you can see from the pictures.   The paint and body is nice. with a few minor chips & flaws.   The interior overall is in good shape. but does have worn front bucket seat covers. some carpet wear. and could use new door pull inserts.   Also the power locks aren't working properly. the analog dash clock doesn't run. and I've never used the rear defog so I don't know if it works or not.   The car idles smoothly and runs well.   The engine to my knowledge has never been rebuilt. and although it runs fine the cover and pan gasket could be replaced. as they leak a tiny bit consistent with a 38 year old vehicle. I'm not a certified auto appraiser. but just going off the guidelines from the appraisal sites it sounds like it's in #3 or “good” condition.   It's a great car for taking off the T-tops and going for a cruise on a Sunday afternoon.

The car is mostly original. but I have made a few modifications.   I couldn't ever get the stock Quadrajet to run smoothly. so I replaced it with a spread-bore Holley. which was a huge improvement. and the engine runs well.   The original carburetor with the snorkel air filter assembly is also included with the car if you ever want to restore to original.   Also the spark plugs & wires are aftermarket. and I have replaced the master cylinder.   The Dunlop's I put on are a bit lower-profile. which dropped the car about 1-1/2” on the front and 1” on the rear. and they really made the car handle nicely.   On the interior. I did black out some of the interior plastic chrome parts. which I think looks good.   The side windows were tinted by a professional shop.   The Cragar louvers on the back I think added an old-school touch.   Also included is a fitted car cover.
