 Time to get rid of my all-time favorite truck. I bought this 11 years ago from a family in Oklahoma City.  I did new painless wiring when I first got it. and it is set in the corner of my garage until last year. I pulled it out and finished most everything I had on my list to do for the last 10 years. I installed  New chrome grill. new chrome rear bumper. new flaming river tilt column. with wood steering wheel. new interior. new headlight bezels.  buckets. turn signals. mirrors. I had transmission pull down to install new ring gear/flywheel. clutch pressure plate etc. . Driveline  and chassis are 87'  3/4 ton Gmc . I believe gears are 373's. with disc brakes front drums in the rear. lockout hubs. ual exhaust. I had  fresh 1966 close chamber heads  installed. with a hydraulic rattler camshaft. new starter new water pump. new 750 HcHolley. new hei dist. . new 4 core Griffin radiator. Tires are 37" Super Seampers w/ Ceterline Alloys. had rear springs re arched as rear was stiff and did not sit level. Gauges :oil . ater temp . uel gauge needs replaced . also replaced fuel tank. ending unit. fillet tube etc. stereo . wipers and defrosters all function fine. I have had several of these tri five gems but the 57' Apache has to be my favorite. Body is very straight and was painted by previous owner in Lambo mica -pearl b/c. shows very well especially for a 12 year job . does have a couple small chips. overall 90%. inished her end of last summer. was going to put bed cover on and add a/c . ecided to let new owner ad as personal touch. !!
