Great car on and off road for adventurous spirits. Off road Variety Bash vehicle.

Built July 1984 Rover SD1 3. 5 litre V8 EFi Automatic.   Only 180. 00kms since new. Fully road registered and insured until July 2017.

Absolutely no rust. A Perth delivered new car. third owner in 32 years.

“The Bill” is Themed as a 1980s British motorway police pursuit car.

I have kept the engine in standard form for absolute reliability for off road events though it can easily be developed for extra performance.

Front disk brakes/rotors are brand new. as are rear shoes.

This is a tough offroad car. tight handling and very stable and reliable.  

It is also VERY comfortable on road and off road with long travel heavy duty Range Rover suspension specified by professional off road racers of these cars.

Power windows. Cold airconditioning. Full 4/5 seater. 4 doors and a huge rear hatch.

An extra 45 litre petrol fuel cell is fitted under the rear boot floor that supplies the main tank with independently controlled electronic pump from a switch on centre console.

Car's range is over 900 kms at speed in the dirt. and around 1100 kms steady highway driving.

Extra fuel pump to main tank mounted under the bonnet with manual switching (on dashboard) for extra reassurance during those deep river crossings.

The car is fitted with large metal EFi fuel filters throughout and has a New extractor exhaust.

Alloy 14inch road wheels with 6 new tyres plus I have an extra 7th wheel and tyre if you'd like it.

New Range Rover suspension on rear and new HD Mcpherson struts and coils in front professionally specified for off-road rallies.

Full scrutineering gear included for Variety including:

Tow bars/hitches front and rear. Heavy duty Propshaft safety loop.

Cargo barrier. Fire extinguisher.  A brand new (used one week only) Long range high performance 80 channel UHF radio.

Removable roof bar (for transporting) with orange flashing convoy lights. police type sirens. loudspeaker for music/speech. high vis high brake lights  etc.

Full underbody armour. including under sump. steering gear and fuel tank. plus flyscreen for radiator.

Lots of spares like fanbelts. hoses. water pump. plugs etc included.

Car is not cleaned down fully from the last Bash yet so it is pretty much as it came off the transporter from Broome. complete with some dirt and a few sponsors' stickers.

This car has successfully completed many on and off-road trips including: the 2015 Port Dennison to Dampier Pilbara Bash and the 2016 Diamonds to Pearls Kimberley Bash from Kununurra to Broome and it is ready to go again.

Great fun. I can even supply a mock police uniform and water guns for those "special occasions".

I have been offered another exciting Bash restoration project and only have garage space for one so I'm offering this car for less than half the development cost of over $20. 00.
