1985 Mitsubishi Other

You are looking at a rare piece of Japanese sports car history. A 1985. 5 Mitsubishi Starion. This is the factory Turbo Intercooled half model year that is just like the 1986 wide body cars with the larger brakes. larger anti-sway bars. better suspension. and 5 lug wheels but with the Flat body. This car is very close to original stock with cold A/C. power windows. power steering and brakes. The heat/defrost system work flawlessly. The cruise control turns on but will not set properly. Factory sound system with steering wheel controls. yes in 1985 this car had this option.  and power antenna that goes up when activated but does not always go down when turned off. Everything else on this beauty works as it should. 4k miles ago I put in new KYB front strut cartridges. rear Tokico blue struts. new KYB strut mounts.  new Eibach Pro Springs. new Mookie over sized front and rear anti sway bars with poly bushings. a new idle arm bushing. new front and rear calipers. new brake pads. Steel Brake lines. new front wheel bearings and seals. a 16G turbo with a ported stressed relieved exhaust manifold. new O2 sensor. a New Mookie polished Stainless down pipe with flex section. new full 3" exhaust to a new Hooker Aero Chamber muffler with tip. an Autometer mechanical boost gauge.  a complete Throttle Body rebuild with injector and shaft seals. and a TPS reset. It also received new Kumho Ecsta 225/50's all around. While the tires were off I polished the wheels and added new valve stems. The factory headlights are weak. so I found a pair of Hella H4 housings and put in new 55w bulbs. I also changed the driving light bulbs and added clear covers for protection. I have some rare Flat Body parts available for sale to the buyer. a 1983 hood ( scooped hood ) and a 1985. 5  ONLY rear factory spoiler. I will include some maintenance items i have for the car.  air filter. plug wires. misc. gaskets and a fuel filter. This beauty was featured in a RockAuto news letter. and draws attention everywhere i drive it. I have been driving this car daily for three years with no problems. i would drive it anywhere.
