Vw Volkswagen camper

You have all heard the term rare as hens teeth? Well heres a great example! It is a 1978 Devon camper. It has only done 40. 000 miles from new that has never been restored or need it now!
Every time the chap filled up with fuel he recorded the mileage.
Every time he serviced it he completed his own health check.
All MOT's. tax disc and service records were also kept!
I have fitted new discs. pads. callipers. master cylinders. shoes and cylinders. window rubbers all round.
It has never been used in the winter and has been wax oiled from new! When I say its rot free. it doesnt even had or need a battary tray. The MOT inspector was blown away. and this was at a specialist Vw centre.
Feel free to get inspected. I can put it up on a ramp so you can see for yourself how good it is!
It has never had any body panels welded in and has 98% original paint. I'm not going to touch the paint work. I could get it painted but it would spoil it!!
The sliding door is the best bit. I have never felt one that works so smooth!!!
I would like £16. 00 Ono I know this sounds a lot but a camper like this doesn't come along very often. if ever.
This is a great investment. this van will go up in value if its looked after or as someone said. put away and brought out in another 5-10 years. Have a look and see how many 40. 000 Bays are out there!  

I also have another Bay. This is a 1969 and is also rot free I am after a VW t5 shuttle or 7 seater of any kind so a px on this camper is not out the question. I should think it was painted in the early eighties. it is very faded in places. it is dove blue under the paint. The engine and battery trays are mint as are the cab floors. I had a good poke around before I bought it.
The roof lining is nice and the roof in the rear is really nice. still has the original wooden lined roof.
All the brakes. master cylinder. drive boots and ball joints have been replaced.

New discs and pads.
New shoes
New Master cylinder
New brake fluid
New wheeel cylinders
New £50 number plates made
Full mot. and will re-mot for the new owner if they want
6 months tax and if I get a good price I will pay for next years tax.
New flex hoses
New Engine seal
New Air vents
New hub caps
New window rubbers
New oil filter
New oil and filter
New air filter


100% German steel. ;-)
