The Gelandewagen was originally designed by Mercedes Benz to be the ultimate in off road vehicles. The G55 is the AMG version of the truck. it expands the parameters of the G Class from the ultimate off-road weapon to the ultimate in on-road SUV's. In this quest. Mercedes has succeeded spectacularly! The G55 is powered by a normally aspirated 5. 5 liter V8 paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The hand-built 349 horsepower engine gives wonderful performance in propelling the 5. 00 pound truck to 60 faster than anything this size has a right to! In 2003. only 572 G55s were sold in the US in 2003. these are rare trucks!

The truck on offer is an excellent 2003 Mercedes G55 “G-Wagon”. The truck is in excellent condition. and is up to date on all of its services. It has only 73. 00 miles. has been recently serviced and is in excellent condition!! The Bright Silver metallic paint is excellent as is the black leather interior. belying the age of the truck. The low mileage is obvious; it is a very nice truck and doesn't look 14 years old! Serviced and inspected by an independent shop this March; service includes all fluids. it is needs nothing. The Black leather interior is in great condition. showing very minimal wear. The carpets and headliner are excellent as well. All interior panels are in fine shape and the rear seats have rarely been used. Owned by an audiofile. the car has a modern high end Alpine stereo with dual amplifiers and subwoofer; the sound system is amazing!! We have the original stereo head unit. and it will come with the truck. The sun roof. power windows. power door locks. heated seats and power seats all work properly; the climate control works as it should. The steering wheel buttons are excellent.
