For sale my much loved replica of the Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite.
Owned and built by myself.  this Paul Banham replica is a body conversion built on a 1988 mini mayfair which we have owned since 1999 and was used daily until we started the conversion in 2002 
This started with a complete strip down to the bear shell. removing old body panels for fitting of the new Banham Metal frame and GRP body.
Complete strip down and overhaul of front and rear subframes with new rear subframe. recondtioned radias arms.  new shock absorbers and ajustable suspension cones front and rear.
Overhaul of brakes with new discs. pads. brake lines. rear shoes. braided brake and clutch pipe.
Old ignition point removed and electronic ignition fitted.
All new brite work and lights.  
Original austin healey sprite window frame and post with new glass.
New Cobra Classic bucket seats in cream with red piping
Mountney Woodrim steering wheel.
New Sprite tonneau cover.
12" wheels.
No spare tyre all tyers have slime in.
Finished in original mini colour Red Paint not gel coat.

This conversion cost approximately £4800. 00 the conversion was completed in 2006 and has been registered at the DVLA as a Banham Sprint.  The car did not undergo a SVA as it did not require one as classed as body conversion however was inspected by DVLA and V5 amended to reflect change of details to a Banham Sprint.
The car has been stored in the garage since it was built and only used on dry sunny days so it only has a tonnea cover just in case.  There is no hood or side screens.
Selling due to having 2 boys under the age of 2 and no time to use and only 2 seats its time to let someone else have a smile on their face.
As this is a body conversion kit car viewing is highly recommended.
In the photos you can see our Austin Healey Replica parked next to an original.

The car is currently sorn with the DVLA so will require a trailer for transportation.  
This is an auction and we wish it to run until the end. a deposit of £100 needs paying within 24 hours of auction ending via paypal for which we will send you an invoice.  The balance cash on collection please.
