Blue Rover P5B - 1970 - Same family since Oct

I'm having a clear out of my garages as I have too many toys and not enough hours in the day to use them.
This car has been in my family since October 1979 when I bought it for my wife to drive. It had about 52. 00 at that time as I still have the MOT that the car was bought with dated Nov 28th 1978 which shows 51. 49 miles.
My wife used it until 1980 when we signed over the log book to my daughter so she could use it and then in 1984 to myself so although there are 3 previous keepers shown on the log book. in reality. there is only 1 former keeper who was the original buyer as the car has never really left me in-between.
The car has always served me well and we have been all over Europe in it. The only work I have carried out was a pair of new rear wings about 14 years ago when I was tidying the car up for my daughters wedding.
Other than that there have only been things like a new exhaust (done a few weeks ago) and up until last month it was still MOT'd - I will get it done this week for the new owner so you will have a years MOT.
I have an envelope full of the old MOT's which prove the mileage but as you can see below. it hasn't had much use lately along with the original bill of sale on 24/10/79 from the original owner a Mr Nash from Wickford !

The car has always lived in a garage and has never been used over the winter so the chassis etc is in pretty good condition but as usual I would say. feel free to come and have a look for yourself before you bid but this is pretty genuine and even has the original tool kit and manual in the dashboard drawer.
About the only thing that needs doing are a new set of window rubbers as I can see these are a bit perished and it will need a good top to bottom service as the fluids have not done much over the past years so it would be sensible to change them all.
The tyres are very good though as they were done only a few years ago and I always leave the car on axle stands when not being used and of course this is now a historic so you don't pay any road tax!
