About eight years ago the engine was rebuilt. new deep turquoise paint was done. matched to the number on the car for the paint. as well as new interior as seen in the pictures!
Everything works inside and out!
Please see the pictures at the end of the pictures for the VIN. the car info tag. as well as the id number on the engine block! Please see pictures of the hood area that shows chips. These chips can be color matched at the new owners expense. This picture taken with a flash more closely shows the color of the car.
The only thing needed is the passenger side electric window control as well as the need to make sure that the that window hydraulic is bled thru to work again. Once a new control is connected.
Just over 87. 00 original miles on the car!!!
As seen. the extra tires on it are used so that the new WHITEWALLS do not develop any sitting flat spots.
Books and manuals as well as a host of other items go with this amazing car!
All chrome re-done albeit the bumpers because they were and still are in great condition! Gentleman was very particular about the car and all the doors close tight and right and the lines match up. Power Front seat as well as windows!!!
New top as well as a new set of white wall tires.
It's been garaged as seen. and yes it's dusty!
Many extra parts including an extra bumper. engine parts. extra chrome parts. new WHITEWALLS and tubes. Etc. .
Multiple pictures with and without flash used in an effort to show the condition and color of the car.
Please ask any questions before bidding. Any reasonable offer will not be refused! You may also call if needed. 559-871-3277

The Buick Super was well equipped. with floor mats. a clock. rear fender skirts. and woodgrain trim. and firm seats. The Super was also as big as the Roadmaster. which buyers liked. though it had a shorter hood and only the 110 horsepower. 248-cid straight-eight engine. which was also shared with the Special. The Roadmaster. by comparison. used the 144 horsepower. 320-cid eight. Demand for new cars was still strong and little was changed for the Buick Super in 1947 and 1948. except for a more handsome grille.
Post-war Buicks remain a practical and handsome example of curvaceous 1940s styling. They are spacious and comfortable. albeit with a rather soft ride. Production was high and many parts were shared across the line. making ownership relatively simple. And while the Super isn't the first postwar Buick to spring to mind for most enthusiasts. the sedans and sedanets are particularly affordable and representative of 1940s American motoring.
