1948 Willys Overland Jeepster Concourse Restoration

Rust free concourse restoration

No expense was spared in this concourse quality frame off restoration. The interior is leather and the top is high grade canvas as well as the top boot and side curtains. The gauges have been restored and calibrated. The entire car was stripped to bare metal and the car had no rust what so ever. I have only seen one other car that was as rust free as this car. The frame was sandblasted and undercoated. The body has 3 coats of primer then 2 coats of Dupont base coat and 3 coats of high quality Dupont clear coat that was cut and buffed between coats. The paint color was matched from my 1930 Stutz. The underside of the body is all undercoated. I have about 300 pictures of the entire restoration from start to finish. The original L-134 and the original 3 speed with overdrive were completely rebuilt. Nothing was compromised during this restoration. right down to every nut and bolt.

It has new Coker tires. new hub caps. beauty rings. brakes and wheel cylinders. master cylinder. brake lines. shocks. battery. fuel pump. clutch. pressure plate. plugs and wires. main bearings. re-built crank. rod bearings. pistons. rings. cam. valves. guides. valve seats. gaskets and seals. and all new exhaust. It runs great. All the chrome is show quality and complete including the chrome steering column and shifter as well as the glove boxes and tail lights. The steering wheel is new. s well as all of the smoked glass. The wiring is completely new and color coded to factory specs.
