This is our 24hr race car. suitable for use in the 2cv championship including their annual 24hr race at Snetterton. see their web site for more info http://www. 2cvracing. org. uk/ 

We have used it for the last 2 24hr events and all new parts listed below were bought 2012. It passes scrutineering with no problems.

The car runs midfield. it misses out on time for development work and keeping up with new rule changes that would enable it to compete with front runners. It does. however. have the potential with extra time and attention to get up there!

It comes with large spares package and includes:

·        a safety devices safety cage

·        OMP race seat

·        6 point harness dated 2017

·        Fire extinguisher

·        Electrical cut out

·        2 race prepared engines with all tweaks allowed. one by championship engine builder Sammie. the other by my race engineer. Both need carb tweaks now allowed. both have just done 1 24hr each without a blip. Both twin choke Webbers. race cams electronic ignition etc. see championship details for extra stuff allowed. ·        Race timing transponder

·        Rebuilt gearbox with uprated linkage

·        Reinforced front suspension with good camber settings

·        Hard race springs

·        Rebuilt AVO adjustable shocks

·        Good suspension set up. corner weighted and runs at minimum height allowed

·        Just above race weight allowed with our lightest driver

·        Nearly new set wheel rims and tyres. plus set that need refurb.

·        Undertray that extends to fuel tank guard

·        Spare fuel tank

·        Fuel dump needed for 24hr with filler neck.

·        Front club spoiler

·        All lights required for racing and spare light bar with 24hr high intensity spot and driving lights.

·        Set of spare wings front and rear. all perfect

·        Spare bonnet same condition

·        All wings and bonnet with quick release fittings

·        Spare doors. 2 rear 1 front unprepared

Plus much more I've forgotten! Car is based near Newmarket in Suffolk. I'd advise you to come see it and see all you're getting for your money. as ever with race prep. far less that it cost.

Has to be a good time to get something in time to work over winter and get ready for next years racing. If in any doubt about the excitement of 2cv racing look at all the you tube videos. Huge excitement and the cheapest motor sport around.

This 2CV is not a road car. it would be possible to convert it back but I don't have any of the original paperwork as a road car.
