1978 Jeep CJ

This attractive 1978 CJ7 belonged to my 84 years old neighbors son  and was purchased by her father and given to her son back in early 90's it was purchased new in south Texas and always kept here. The son moved over seas about 4 years ago and left the truck in her garage . till recently when he came back and sold it to me as he was going back and had no more use for it . the truck has a clear Texas title and has just passed the Texas state Inspection. Since i have got it i have replaced the all four shocks. dded front steering stabilizer for faster driving. hange the oil and filter and replaced the differential fluids and checked all lubricants. hanged over the the a/c system to R134a. hecked the front and rear brakes and replaced the master brake cylinder. olished and waxed the body and replaced the old gas and the gas tank filler rubber tubes. The jeep accident free and was repainted back in 1996 according to the son . t was stripped down in and out and was painted in base coat clear coat in original green color. he paint is shiny but is old and has minor cracks and imperfection here and there but still looks good. took the seats and carpet out and clean the floor and only found surface rust and few rust bubbeling around the rocker panel towards the front. and at the edge of some of the metal over laps. ll floors and sheet metal are original to the truck. he 6 cylinder engine cranks right up and runs strong ( no smoke at start up or any time and no noises)the 3 speed manual transmission shift smooth and the 4x4 works great and has been tested. all emission system are intact and operational including the smoke pump. he a/c is ice cold. he [power brakes and power steering are great options to have. he truck comes with fog lamps. clean white hard top and hard doors. ear seat. ew black wheels . tires have plenty of treat on them but are old and for daily driver i would recommend replacing them. the exhaust system is all good and the catalytic is still on. All the glass is good . he weatherstrip is original . the white seats are in good shape and the tan carpet is clean for its age . here is insulation added under front carpet for quietness. here is a towing receiver and after market spare tire holder in the back. lease feel free to ask questions . there be a $500 deposit required via paypal at the end of the sale and the rest is due with in 7 days. buyers with 0 feedback need to contact me first before bidding. thank you
