For sale is a 1986 Chevy K30 single cab. long bed. four wheel drive. non-turbo diesel. This is a 5/4 ton capacity truck. The truck was purchased with 50. 51 and I have put about 9. 00 miles on it. Since I have owned it in 2013. it has been garage kept. The truck runs and drives perfectly. The body is in excellent condition. minor dings on the tailgate. There is no rust on this truck. There were two spots of rust on the passenger side rocker panel and cab corner which were cut out. new metal installed. and painted. It was not rusted out. just showing. Originally it was used by the National Guard in Texas. The diesel engine is very reliable. It has the OEM 24-volt starter which works well. The 24-volt system is known to be a slow charging system. To stay ahead of this. I keep it on a trickle battery tender and I have good luck with this method. The glow plugs were replaced two years ago and I put the glow plugs on a manual switch to help it start easier on cold days. The original radiator was replaced in 2015 with a brand new aluminum one with a lifetime warranty. I have the receipt for it. I also installed a coolant heater when i replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses. The truck has solid Dana 60 front and Corporate 10. 5 inch rear axle. The rear axle has a limited slip which is very nice in slippery conditions. It has a front receiver hitch and wired for a winch. I installed a Class V rear hitch which is rated at 15. 00 lbs. I installed a 7-way trailer plug. The truck has a Line-X spray in bed liner. The tires are GoodYear Duratrac with 50% life remaining on the rear and 65% life remaining on the front. It has heat which works well. The truck did not come with a radio from the factory however i installed one. No rips in the seat and the dash is very clean. The previous owner changed out the dash and steering column so this truck has a tilt steering wheel. The odometer was replaced with the new dash by the previous owner so it reads lower mileage. All lights work and no glass is cracked or chipped. The three speed auto TH-400 shifts firmly but smooth. The manual transfer case also shifts smoothly. It has Warn 3/4 turn locking front hubs.

I have seen similar trucks in the area however none of them compare to this truck in quality. Most from the east coast are full of rust however this is in the case. I have clean Maryland title in my name. I used the truck to go to the dump. hardware store. and to get firewood. It was never abused.

It currently has no mufflers installed however I have the stock mufflers and they will come with the truck.
