1969 Jaguar E-Type tax exempt

E-Type 4. 2. 2+2 coupe 1969

we have just brought this E type in from the states . all the import taxes have been paid 

the engine sounds great . no knocks or rattles and starts on the button every time . the owner tells me it was his fathers car . who has now sadly passed away . his father had owned it for years and only used it on a sunday (just to stretch its legs apparently)

the car is not concourse but is pretty much unmolested and in very good condition for a car this age . the paint work is in good condition but there are some small blisters on the bonnet grill and a couple of blemishes that could easily be touched up . the car has had a respray within the last decade . we know this as its colour code is the Jaguar Racing Team Formula one 2004 Brilliant silver effect

the inside is original and with a bit of leather feed would bring it up nicely

now for the only bad bit . the floor pans ( not the sills) would need some welding done . if the car hits its reserve we shall repair the floor in the purchase price free of charge PLEASE DO NOT ASK THE RESERVE . THE CAR IS ON HERE TO BE BID ON !!!!

 if the winning bidder wants any upgrades done on this vehicle this can be arranged at the buyers cost

all in all this is a very nice example that could be used on a daily basis . not a £80. 0. 00 E-Type you would be scared to take out of the garage but a very nice car

please come and view before bidding so you know what you are bidding on . the car can be seen on ramps so you can check the car from top to bottom . or if you want to have it checked over by a third party you are more than welcome

a £200 non returnable deposit would be required within 24 hours of auction end . the rest to be paid via bank transfer before the car is released

o/s/f top ball joint

front side lights amber (change lense )

rear indicator lenses

washers not working

steering rack mount

o/s sill area slightly corroded

if the car hits its reserve we shall do all the above failures in the purchase price so it will come with a 12 months no advisory  mot
