VW Volkswagen Kombi Baywindow Deluxe With RWC 12 Months REG VIC in Melbourne, VIC

1972 VW Kombi Deluxe for auction- reluctant sale through change in circumstances.
I have had a fair few VWs and hoped to keep this one for a long time. Purchased last year from Adelaide. South Australia. and today registered for 12 months (included in sale) in Victoria. This Kombi is sold with RWC so can be immediately transferred into your name with no work required.
This bus had been resprayed in Kahalari Tan but not been used much when I came to buy it. so I have fixed many little annoying items that many vw owners will be familiar with. some for RWC. but mostly as they bugged me.  
Over the last year I have carried out the following (receipts for most of this are included)
To restore the steering and reduce slopiness- new centre pin. track rods + good used steering box.  Shifter- gear shifter coupling & new Gene Berg Shifter- (the best shifter there is in my opinion- and at around $400 it should be)
New front seat beltsNew kick panelsFront seats restored with TMI seat covers (same colour as original). replaced some broken springs & new coconut fibre paddingNew wiper bladesNew pop up roof vent to replace an old aftermarket AC unit which was sadly unsalvageable.
Engine components- new coil. carb. distributor & electronic pointless ignition- starts. uns and drives very well. 4 new tyresNew accelerator pedal assembly
New german door handles (so not the cheap repro ones that last less than a year)Replaced door handle springs so locks work as they should. New indicator switch mechanism.
Next things I would have done if I was keeping this van is to repaint the wheels and attend to some minor paint blemishes (which I have tried to capture in the 3rd to last photo) and restore the rear seat covers.  All the photos were taken on Sunday 1st September- except the last 2 with the new VIC plates today.  
This van has never let me down and is used regularly.

This is the cross over low light model 72/73. so has low light front panel & indicators but with the tall lights to rear. I will be adding a photo of the rear of the bus later today.

I also added an electric washer pump kit from just kampers mounted inside the kick panels where original sat.

As this is the cross over model it comes with servo assisted disk brakes as standard.
There is a small dent to the roof edge line at the back (left)- which is just visible in the picture if you zoom in close.
