Great condition Spitfire runs strong super fun to drive.
Here is what is in great shape on the car: Engine - Runs well never had issues. Body - No rust anywhere. one small patch that was cut out and welded in a new sheet on driver side floor. Suspension - Zero issues handles great.  Tires- Bought Brand New 07/01/2016. Exhaust-After market exhaust installed (Sounds great. deep and aggressive. )Radiator- New Radiator installed 01/21/17Battery -New Battery Bought 03/01/2017Electrical - Professionally rewired at a British Mechanic Shop 07/01/2016Paint - Very few minor nicks here and there but overall great.  Interior - New Carpet and new transmission cover installed 07/01/2016.  Fluids - Nothing leaks. your driveway is safe.  Transmission - Replaced the master and slave cylinder as well as the clutch plate on 05/03/16. The transmission works great. however 2nd gear can be a little tricky to get into at times. it works perfectly fine you just have to learn at what rpm the car likes to go into 2nd. No issues with 1st 3rd 4th or reverse at any rpm you can switch into those.
Here is what is wrong with the car that I haven't had time to fix.  Starter - old one died and I replaced it with a new one 03/02/17. but I didn't wire it correctly. it needs to be reinstalled by someone who know what they are doing with starters on these old spitfires. The car push starts in 5 feet of space so you can come see everything works fine. I just don't know how to install a starter correct apparently.  Water pump - The water pump died a few weeks back so now when you drive it more then 15 minutes it starts to get warm. I know its the water pump because the radiator doesn't get warm it stays cold to the touch but the engine starts to heat up.  Top - The top works just fine and was replaced on 07/16/16. however the plastic window in the back right corner has a tear.  Speedometer- You need to replace the speedo cable that connects to the transmission.
The car is super solid and with minimal effort will be back to amazing condition. The car is located in Orange County. CA and due t the waterpump issue I would recommenced toeing it home not driving it. I have tags on it and pink slip in hand.  Message me with any questions or concerns. I have a video I took yesterday of the car running with me reeving the gas so you can hear and see it text me and I will send it to you. (714-943-8880)
