CCC Jaguar E Type Mk1 Roadster Replica

This car is a real headturner and attracts admirers wherever she goes !  She is a very faithful replica being based on mouldings taken from an original E Type Mk1 Roadster and built under licence from Jaguar Cars.
I bought this car back in May and it needed a few jobs doing as it had only done about 500 miles in the last few years and had be 'sorned' through lack of use. I have completed most of the jobs that needed doing and i'm only selling as i've realised that at nearly 60 yrs old. my body is not as lithe or flexible as my mind thinks it is so i struggle to get in and out of this car being 6' 2'' tall.
One of the reasons i bought this car is because i thought it would be a good marketing tool for my art gallery ( The JAG Art Gallery on Brighton seafront ) which you can see in the photos.
The previous owner had the car for about 5 years and he bought it from a chap local to him who told him that the car was originally built from a Triple C ( later renamed Challenger ) kit in 1989 by someone that worked for Jaguar Cars.
In the last 5 years. the car has been resprayed to a good standard in the original signal red. rewired. a new radiator fitted. new door cards fitted. wooden dashboard refurbished and new tyres fitted.
The condition now is very good with just a few very minor marks on the bodywork if you look closely. She starts first time every time and drives great ! The interior is in very good condition and the 2. 8 Ford Granada V6 engine has excellent oil pressure and the advantage of a 5 speed manual gearbox. She sounds great too with a twin pipe stainless steel exhaust. There is a spare set of carpets in the boot and also a tonneau cover. The body is glass fibre so there is no rust anywhere and with a lightweight body. this car is no slouch !
Classic car insurance for me is less than £100 a year !
These quality replicas frequently sell for more than £20. 00 but i am pricing it to sell as i want to buy a friend of mines XKR which is easier for me to drive.
