1978 Toyota Land Cruiser SUV

      1978 Toyota Land cruiser FJ40. The most coveted years of the FJ40's and last year of the classic round bezel. 86710 original miles on the  stock Inline 6 cylinder. 4. 2L. 2F  engine and 4 speed transmission. Meticulously maintained. Recent full tune up included oil/filter. air filter. fuel filter. fan belt. antifreeze. spark plugs and wires. cap rotor and condenser. Factory emission-control equipment is in tact. New muffler and exhaust out the back. Just took it through DEQ (Dept. of Environmental Quality) and passed with flying colors. Only ethanol free (E0) premium gasoline has ever been used in this engine and it purrs.  Front disc. rear drum brakes work perfectly. (E-brake too). New brake booster. fluid and master cylinder last fall. Warn locking hubs. four wheel drive (both High and Low) work perfectly. Factory suspension with new shocks and steering stabilizer. I also replaced all of the bushings. Brand new 31 X  10. 50 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain (KM2's) T/A Radial tires (including the spare) with less than 10 miles on them. Original wheels and hubcaps in excellent condition. Under carriage was sprayed with a protective rubberized undercoating to resist rust and reduce noise when it was repainted it's original factory color Toyota #653 (Olive-Brown) in 2010. Comes with a bottle of touch up paint .  The original antennae is installed under the arrow (just slides right off). Forgot to remove for the pictures. Heavy duty Hell-For-Stout (HFS) front bumper holds a vintage  Warn 8274 winch dated 8/13/1979 in pristine condition.  (comes with remote) and vintage fog lights that work perfectly. Stock rear bumperettes and 2" ball on the trailer hitch. (Ball can be removed and used as a step to better reach the roof rack).       Interior is in excellent condition. Original seats (front and back) have no rips or tears in them. Front seats have the optional headrests. All 4 seats have the original working seat belts.  The headliner and visors are excellent (no rips or tears).  Original factory front floor mat is like new.  Rare factory side-window defrost vents. All gauges. lights. heater. fan. rear heater. defrost. choke. wipers. horn.  interior light. seat belts.  windows. locks and doors work as they should. Even the "Fasten seat belts" buzzer and light work  when you start it up. Emergency Brake light works as well. The dash has never been drilled or cut. Front fog light and Off-road light switches fit perfectly into the factory holes in the dash and required no drilling. The factory glove box emergency light is in the glove box and has the original emergency light plug-in. I installed new seals for the top and windshield before I put the top back on. Factory roll bar. with pads. The entire floor. front to back. has been covered with Herculiner for durability and sound deadening and painted the correct color Toyota #653. Brand new heavy duty rear floor mat from Cool Cruisers'. Comes with the original bottle jack under the driver's seat. and original jack handle bars behind the rear seat in their proper homes. (See pics). Also comes with the factory tool kit under the front seat which includes: Lug wrench and handles. factory Toyota crescent wrench and pliers. Toyota Motor Co. open end wrenches. etc. There is no radio/stereo in this FJ40. Came with the factory radio-delete plate which is still in place. I have a Bob Marley Riddim Bluetooth box that fits perfectly into the console between the 2 front seats. Just pair your phone. and it will play your music off your phone. It is made of solid bamboo. charges off your cell-phone charger. has a 10hr. lithium battery. and is wireless up to 15 meters. It also has a jack for headphones. I plug my USB port into it to charge my phone and Bluetooth box.        This vehicle has a  vintage 1980's  safari roof rack with 2 off road halogen navigator lights. (covers for them too). axe. and shovel. Elk horns not included :) I have included a picture with all the lights on. It is easily removed by lifting the tabs on the gutter mounts and unplugging the lights. The top comes off with 18 bolts. (see pictures). Side and rear ambulance doors are removable as well.  Comes with 2 new soft doors (have only been on for the pictures) and 2 door latches for them. (see pictures). Windshield folds down and hooks to the hood (see picture). Tailgate installs easily to the ambulance door bolt holes and holds the vintage locking euro-can rack (lock included). Comes with a new Euro can with spout (see pictures).      Currently licensed through December of 2017. clear title (in my name) in hand. The Oregon Pacific Wonderland Specialty plates will go with the vehicle if it is purchased by an Oregon Buyer.
