Rover Mini City 1000

Hi and welcome to my listing for my beautiful Rover Mini City.
Although it's a City it has full Cooper detailing and looks amazing.

I'm not going to lie. I'm extremely sad as I write this right now.
I've owned this particular Mini for nearly 2 years now (they are all I've ever owned). br>however a new job in October and countless motorway miles needed to be
covered for it dictate that I need something more practical before I start.

So. where do I start?
Well. let me say that I will be completely honest. good and bad.

The car underwent a nearly full rebuild which was finished in 2011.
The shell and sub-frame are original. and are in great condition.
The car has been wax-oiled every year up to now. however hasn't been done yet this year.
I have lots & lots of receipts (as you can see in the last picture). br>and have M. O. T's going back to 2006 when the bloke before me purchased it and the rebuild was started.

I have always always took the money no option approach when it has come to looking after the car.
The most recent work undertaken was on the 16/08 and totaled around £1000.
A Service & MOT test followed and it sailed through without a single advisory.
The car comes with 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax.

Recent work includes:
Brakes. Choke replaced. New Ignition Coil. Replaced Carb needle. Timing & Mixture Set-up. 2 x Front Wheel Bearings. br>2 x Front CV Joints. Drive Shaft Boot. 4 x New Spark Plugs. New Distributor Cap. Welding on floor near suspension. Oil & Filter change.

The car is also sitting on 4 Brand New (bought on 09/08) Falken ZE912 tyres. They were fitted on day of MOT.
Also has 12" Revolution alloys. however 2 of the centre caps have fallen off (they can be purchased for £s).

Now the Fun stuff!!
Full custom interior which includes 2 Real Scottish Leather Seats taken from a Saab and professionally fitted.
The whole interior is decked out in Blue Leather and a Grey Suede which looks and feels gorgeous.
There are 8 Kenwood speakers fitted. 2 housed in custom consoles underneath either side of the dashboard. br>2 housed underneath the rear seats. and 4 mini speakers. 2 on the dash and 2 behind each head rest.
There is also a Sony Amp attached to the underside of the boot lid.
The car also has a brand new Sony CD/MP3 player. however this will only come with the car if my asking price is met. br>otherwise I will be removing it before sale as it cost a LOT of money and I'd like to put it in my next car.
The boot is decked out with a full boot kit wrapped in blue carpet.
There is an extra brake light mounted on the boot lid in the centre of the rear window.
The steering wheel is a Mountey also in blue.
The car has a set of 3 Spot Lamps mounted which are all working. br>on normal beam they light up with Blue Halo's (like a BMW) which looks awesome. on full beam they light up as bright as the head lamps.
The finishing unique touch on the car is that it has an ignition switch and push button start inspired by a real RAF fighter plane.

The Bad Bits!! (all superficial) (all pictured)
There are 2 small cracks on the bonnet that could do with being tidied up.
The spot lamps are rusty and could do with being professionally cleaned and shined.
The left hand side rear wheel arch has a few stains on it. nbsp;and all the screws attaching the wheel arches have rusted.
The arches in general could do with being removed. resprayed and have anti-rust screws put in.
The leather on the right had side of the steering wheel has come away slightly from general wear & tear.
I was planning on doing all of this work myself before winter but as i now need to sell won't have time.

Mechanically the car is in great condition and very reliable.
I have used it at least 5 days a week for nearly 2 years.
It has been kept in the garage every day and night as long as I have owned it.
It also comes with a car cover for those rare instances that the weather man lies.

I think that's about all I have to say.
I have probably missed something so feel free to ask questions.

I am willing to listen to offers as I do need to sell the car.
But please. lets be serious.

You are welcome to come and view the car and take it for a short test drive.
Please contact Chris on 07788266233.

Thanks for looking.
(p. s. mileage will go up a bit as I still have to use it until it sells)
