Jeep CJ7 Army Wrangler 4x4 CJ 7 Willys MB

Selling my beautiful 1984 CJ7. Jeep is one of a kind and gets a lot of looks and compliments everywhere. Runs and Drives great!

I purchased the jeep about 6 years ago and did a frame off restoration. (Pics below) Body was removed. all rust cut out and new panels welded. Then jeep was treated to prevent future rust. Interior was sprayed with bed-liner. Exterior was first primed with a high zinc primer to prevent rust and then painted with a high quality enamel from armyjeepparts. net. The color is AJP used on most army jeeps from 1944 to 1957. Paint is semi-gloss.  

The original motor was a 2. 5l but was replaced with a high output fuel injected 4. 0 and a matching 5 speed AX15 transmission. The replacement engine came from a 1994 Wrangler YJ with 70k that was rolled over. I purchased the entire Jeep and used the engine. trans. computer. wiring harness. power steering booster. and tilt steering column. The transfer case is the original Dana 300.  

The Jeep has a full soft top. a bini top. and best off all not top and front window down :-). Also comes with soft doors. You are able to "roll" down the windows in the soft doors.  

Jeep has a 4" suspension lift. 1" body lift. 33" tires. Both front and rear drive shafts have cv joints to reduce drive-line angle and vibration that is associated with lifting a Jeep. Jeep also has a twin stick differential shifter (to engage just front. or just rear drive)  

Jeep also has a stereo. amp. and a Tuffy center arm rest / locker. Seats are new. Passenger side does have a small rip from a branch. Rear seat folds up to make a larger trunk.  

Also included is a tow bar so you can flat tow behind an SUV or an RV.  

I mostly use this Jeep to cruise around with the family when the weather is nice. tow it behind the motor home when we go camping to use as a shuttle. and mild off road with the family at places like The Cliffs or Badlands. The Jeep is not a showroom car. It does have some minor scuff marks from branches and being off road in a forest. I have been to Daytona Jeep Beach twice on it.    

Since I owned it I put about 8k trouble free miles. The Jeep starts right up and runs great. It has 4. 10 gearing and a super low. low gear. It will climb a wall. Tires are good. plenty of life left.   Front rotors and pads recently replaced. Read drums have plenty of life. Also new brake lines all around. Jeep really needs nothing.  

Please note that most gauges are not connected. Only the speedo and odometer works. I kept putting it off and just never got around to it. All the wires are OEM from a YJ. I have the YJ gauges as well. It is fairly straight forward.
