Up for Sale is a 1965/1955 Jaguar D-Type (All Aluminum) by
Tempero of New Zealand. The Chassis is No 028 was the third supplied to The
Fine Car store but the 28th car Temero Produced and the body is all Aluminum.
The Engine #7D52774-8 Chassis No#IB28690N and the registration number is
IQ9836.

 The engine is a 4. 2L
with Webers. The Flywheel was lightened. motor balanced. fitted with 3/8 lift
D-Type grind on cams and 9 to 1 Pistons. This car has a 4speed Manual overdrive
gearboxes. The front suspension has MK10 Wishbones. XJ Uprights. XJ 3pot Caliper
brakes & MG midget rack and pinion. Wheels are pressed Steel on Temero
D-Type Style hubs. This car was the first to have a dual brake master cylinder
with adjustable rear brake bias through twin brake boosters. The air ducts cut
into the front body work. There is a flexible safety fuel tanks and the exhaust
is painted (Powder Coated) flat black like the originals race cars at Le Mans.
The Alloy wheels were ordered for this car later and did not become the
standard until Chassis No 030. This particular car was featured in an article
in the New Zealand Herald and Auckland daily newspapers. The Journalist who
wrote the article was Adrian Blackburn who at the time owned chassis number 012
a car that was built in 1985. These cars are as close to the real thing that
you can get without paying $3-6million dollars. The Temero cars start at around
$250. 00. 00 to build depending on options and there is a 1-2 year wait time
that goes with that. I have a clear Georgia Title stating 1965 Jaguar Tempero
