1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hotrod for Sale
1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hotrod All Steel. 302/C4. Jaguar Rear-end. 4-Link Coil-overs . please be patient while the many photos load.

Quality built 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hotrod for sale. Very clean and tidy. built approximately 10-12 years ago. The best handling Model A Streetrod I've ever driven. bar none.

Very nice all steel body with good chrome. trim. newer engraved windscreen and push-out frame. Truespoke chrome 5-lug wheels with 31x10. 50 R15LT's in the rear and 175/70R14's up front. The cloth top is from LeBaron-Bonnie and fits perfectly and includes the proper glass rear window. The interior is nicely finished with newer seating. carpets and panels including in the rumble seat area. It's equipped with power and tilt steering. Stewart-Warner full gauges. Pioneer sound system and power rumble seat.

The drivetrain is a 302ci and a C4 transmission with independent cooler and a Jaguar rear end. Many upgrades completed between 2011-2012 including new BDS blower. new polished Holley carburetor. all chromed engine accessories. heavy duty cooling. switched exhaust cut-outs. jet coated exhaust. EZ Wiring harness with modern fusebox. Setup with a wide single belt pulley system. MSD Electronic Ignition. Cobra Valve covers and Cobra oil pan. The underside is stunning and well thought-out with chromed coil-over 4-link suspension. chrome driveshaft. Jaguar rear-ends. chromed stabilizers. custom exhaust with electronic switch-over to straight pipes and a whole lot of attention to detail. Make sure to check out all of the photos and videos.

At present. the motor is backfiring intermittently. An engine leak-down test determined that moderate piston blow-by exists in all cylinders and an intermittent misfire occurs in cylinder 5. Likely the block is in need of re-boring and new oversized pistons. The bottom end is likely in good shape as evidenced by no noise and very good oil pressure at idle. The heads and valve train are expected to be fine as well.
