First off. this car is fast like a big block Corvette from the late '60's.  It also sounds the same for whatever that's worth.  I say that to denote the spirit of this car. Invigorating performance out of the 409. the 4 Speed (Muncie) shifts effortlessly. excellent clutch feel. Power to the road is easy. each gear under rpm's makes your head go back. it's a real muscle car for sure.

The Tubeular Control Arms even have a nice finish to them! 

Power Steering. it's tight. I'd drive this thing across country without blinking.  It tracks true. it hugs the road like a late model sports car. pretty cool really. you don't feel that too often. Go ahead. stick it in a corner. you'll feel it. confidently.

The Final Word.

This Impala Pro-Touring Car is one of the best. any way you slice it.  You can buy a 1 way ticket and drive it home no matter the distance.  Cruising at 60 to 70 is easy. comfortable and. well. awesome!
