EXTERIOR
This classic Mini Autotest creation has been painstakingly crafted to the highest standard and is ready for both track and road. Finished in lively Racing Red. the paintwork boasts a deep glossy shine. There are numerous minor imperfections throughout the finish but no rust whatsoever. The fibreglass front wings are well fitting and intact. but have some very trivial chips to the paint. There is a small ding in the offside flank ahead of the rear wheel. The vehicle is structurally excellent and the competition roll cage has been professionally fitted. All characterful decals and race livery are in perfect condition. but easily removed if not to the new owners taste.

INTERIOR
The suitably sparse interior of this fun vehicle is thoroughly in keeping with the nature of the car. The exterior colour scheme continues inside the car and is complimented by checker plate flooring and an aluminium dashboard. The minimal interior functions operate perfectly . including the battery isolator and fuel cut off switch. Supportive leather sports seats offer supportive reassurance for tight cornering! The removable vinyl roof covering is in excellent condition and aids the usability of this road going track car. Everything you might need and nothing you don't. Fabulous.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The legendary and time proven A-series unit is a dream for the classic car enthusiast and home mechanic with robust reliability easy maintenance. This example is no exception and fires into life with the first turn of the key. The engine idles perfectly and pulls strongly. producing a delightful rasp from the centre exit exhaust system. The standard four speed gearbox is light. precise and welcomes the spirited driving that this car has been created for.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
A set of brand new Revolution wheels have recently been fitted and remain in perfect condition. The quality Yokohama A539 165/60/R12 tyres have virtually no wear. The brakes have been upgraded to discs at the front and the standard rear drums. offering ample stopping power for this lightweight recreational vehicle. Perfectly civilised but ‘white knuckle' when you want it. brilliant!

HISTORY FILE
Based originally on a 1971 Austin Mini 1000. the standard car is now a distant memory following the full and professional build carried out on this vehicle. The creation was completed firmly with the Autotest competition scene in mind. whilst maintaining the ability to be fully road legal. The previous owner being a lifelong classic Mini collector. who maintained his cherished fun Mini impeccably since taking ownership in May 2011. Some previous MOT certificates complete the history file for this unique and truly special classic Mini. Incredible amusement and thrills guaranteed.
