This is my father in law's car.  He was the second owner having bought it probably from lease or something as it was pretty new at the time.  The only option we can determine is the wheels and tires which are AMG wheels -- we don't have the sticker to see what else it may have.  He drove it rarely but regularly for as much as 250 miles a trip or short in-town trips.

I mentioned the transmission in an odd way on purpose.  It is a manual transmission without a clutch -- it clutches by itself.  You can put it in automatic mode and it pretty much behaves like an automatic. or you can manually shift using paddle shifters.  It is not the same as an automatic exactly . you put it into any gear and it moves are about 6-8 mph with no input from the gas pedal.  The manual (which the car has) is very clear about this.  You are supposed to use the brake when in parking lots. etc. to get lower speeds. Nobody explained this to him. so I have to you.  It is sporty and fun if you are under 90 and can deal with it.

It does have a backup camera. multi-CD player (I don't know how many). and pretty much every toy one could imagine.

In the last couple of years my father and law has slowed down.  The traditional put it in gear. shift foot to gas pedal. and back to brake if needed . has become a problem.  He got his foot stuck under the gas pedal several times.  So -- it has 4-5 repairs on it's record if the records are correct.  They are all absolutely minor.  Cracked grill (yes it is plastic). Tiny dings.  All were repaired by one of the best body shops in Sedona.  There is zero chance you will see signs of these minor repairs -- all of which happened at well under 10 mph.

Everything else is perfect too.  The leather has no stains. wear. tears. etc.  One picture is a black hole -- that is the trunk -- just to show you how clean.  On passenger side. besides the umbrella (not included :-) ) is a rag -- so he could wipe bugs off it. Every mechanical piece is perfect and was never damaged in any of these parking lot excitements.  It should easily last 100s of thousands of miles if well kept.  You won't find a better kept similar vintage Mercedes car than this one.

The 3. 5 is pretty snappy to say the least.  Unless you are trying to race. it can well exceed our 75 mph speed limit with ease.  Mileage is decent (based on right foot behavior).  He pretty much always used automatic mode except he would use the paddles on long down hill grades to protect the brakes.  He never floored at a stop light or any other non-adult behavior.  He was taught to drive a long time ago. he was a good driver. and knows how to take care of a car.  He also knows when it is time to stop driving. and that time has arrived. Somebody will get a very nice Mercedes here.  Before he asked me to listed. I thought it was newer based on appearance.  It shines and is absolutely in excellent condition.  Unless you are a MB expert and know the year from the trim you would think it was a lot newer and a lot more expensive -- especially with those aggressive AMG wheels and tires.

It has always been an AZ car and we believe always garaged (he did).  No rust.  And in AZ no rust means something a lot different than East Coast and even California if close to the sea.  It means no rust. zero. nada.

If there is a flaw you will have to look hard for it -- and it would have had to get by my father in law and my wife and myself.  Consider it's condition to be more like a two year old car (because I'm sure you'll find something).

Your deposit is due by paypal on my account within 24 hours.  The balance within 10 days.  You can pay by any means so long as the bank says it has cleared before you pick up the car (personal check. money order. cashier's check. wire transfer. etc).  If you cannot pick it up within the 21 days please make prior arrangements before  bidding -- we can keep it a month or two -- but you need to pay for it on time and be responsible (insure it) at that point.
