1984 Toyota Celica GT

I am a collector of classic low mile Celicas and this one is almost perfect.

This Celica has 42K Original Miles and still wears its original paint. engine and interior.  It has never been restored.

It runs and drives just as good as it looks.   The A/C is cold and the original radio works (albeit with a little crackling when you adjust the volume).

The car runs out perfect even at highway speeds (65-70).

It does not have power windows or locks - which is a good thing because there is no electrical to go bad!

INTERIOR

Everything functions just as it should - All gauges. Wipers - Front and Back. Washer Fluid. Headlights. Horn. Emergency Brake. Dome lights. Dash lights. Headlights. Tail lights. Side marker lights. (passed Texas Safety Inspection with no problem)

Dash is original - no dash cap - no warping. no fading and no cracks.

AM/FM Radio functions fine. Rear power antennae does work. There is some static when turning the volume knob.

Seats (front and back) still have original material and it is in great condition - No stains. no rips or tears and no strange smells. Red/Gray in Color.

Carpet is in excellent condition with no fraying. no bare spots and still maintains its red color.

Door panels are perfect - no cracking. no stains. and door lights do work.

Rear Hatch - Carpet is good but starting to show fraying (Shown in the pictures). With proper care it should still last a long time.

Rear hatch panels - Great condition with no scratches and no damage.

Headliner is perfect - including visors with mirrors.

EXTERIOR

Original Paint in good condition. It has been clay bared. polished and waxed. No major imperfections. Gets compliments all the time.

Black paint around rear windows is showing a very minor chipping - shown in pictures.  

Two very very minor spots of rust on rear hatch near the Toyota Emblem. Shown In pictures. This is the only rust I have found on the entire car.

One very small ding right behind the passenger side rear tire. not really noticeable - but I believe in full disclosure.

Rear black bumper in great condition with no fading and no scaling.

Headlights flip up and return to normal just as they should - no issues at all.

WHEELS AND TIRES

I will be including the Supra P-Type Wheels (also redone and look amazing) and brand new (less than 200 miles) BF Goodrich T/A Radial Tires ----- AND

The original Toyota Steel Wheels with Beauty Rings and tires in almost new condition.   (also included a picture with those as well)

No rubbing and no driving issues with the Supra wheels. looks amazing!!!

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION - DRIVING IMPRESSIONS

This Celica is equipped with the original Toyota 22RE Engine and Automatic Transmission.

No smoking. no knocking. no issues - car runs perfect. Starts right up every time.

Transmission runs out smooth and shifts just like it should with no hard shifts and no lagging. Just a solid drive.

I have driven this car over 100 miles in a single day and it performed flawlessly. However - its not the kind of car I would take on a 1000 mile journey due to its age.

A/C is cold - but don't expect the same quality of cold air that is in the new cars of today. We live in South Texas and it keeps up just fine.

I have a son that will be entering college soon and its time to part with one of my toys.

Car is stored inside a garage outside of the elements. Mileage may very a little as we will still be taking it to car shows until it sells.

We are also selling the car locally. so we reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason.

Buyer is responsible for shipping and pick-up - Although I will take the car to meet your shipper near my home.

Final Thoughts - This is a great little car that's in fantastic condition for its age. It gets compliments all the time and would be a great car to get into the hobby with.

Its a fraction of the cost of a restored Mustang. Camaro. Challenger - and quite honestly. you just don't see them in this condition anymore (which is why it gets so much attention).
