Flying Cat Engineering (Jaguar Specialists) are offering this very original Daimler V8 250 Manual for sale.
The mileage is 62804. which we are sure is genuine. having MOT's dating from 1973.
The current MOT is valid until June 2013.
The bodywork is sound. the car is very solid. but there are a few bubbles showing on the usual places.  But not on the front wings.  Cosmetically the paint looks good.  The underside is solid and jacking points sound.
The interior is original and would require re-colouring and re-sealing. but other than that the leather is in good condition.  The door cards are ok. but the passenger door card has a small sag in it.
The carpets are good and have been protected by floor mats.  The woodwork is good. and the dashtop is sound.
All the chrome is good apart from the front and rear bumpers where the chrome is starting to lift in a few places.
Mechanically this car is excellent.  The engine runs very smoothly. excellent oil pressure and no leaks.  The gearbox is smooth and gives the V8 an extra kick compared to an automatic gearbox.
In summary this car provides an excellent opportunity to own a very rare manual Daimler V8.  It does require some extra investment. but when completed this car will be a superb example.
