We have a new Italian Stallion in our stable here at MotoeXotica Classic Cars. a 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider Convertible finished in hard to find silver exterior and black interior. The F355 is one of the most iconic cars in modern Ferrari history and is on the verge of becoming an appreciating modern classic with the highly desirable manual transmission. Fabspeed exhaust system. recent belt service and fully functional top!

Many enthusiasts prefer the F355 because of its separate dual air intakes and dual mass airflow sensors. giving the car more power.

Dressed in Argento Nurburgring (Nurburgring Silver) (code 101). this car's paint and trim are in excellent condition. The windshield. side glass and rear window are in similar great order. as are this filly's lights. even her foglights. It rolls on five-spoke factory alloy wheels wrapped in 225/40ZR18 radials in front and 265/40ZR18s in back. The tires and wheels continue the fine pattern established by the other areas. In fact. all of the body panels are straight and solid. the engine bay is highly tidy and the bumpers look impeccable.

Open the rear bonnet to see the car's heart. a 3. 5L. five-valve V-8 engine. Its new head design allowed for better intake and much more power than the 348 that came before. The longitudinal 90° V8 engine was bored two mm over the 348's engine (85 mm rather than 83 mm). resulting in the small increase in displacement. Engine internals are produced using lightweight materials; the connecting rods are forged in Ti6-Al-4V titanium alloy. The engine's compression ratio is 11:1 and employs the Bosch Motronic M2. 7 engine control unit in the 1995 model year. The Motronic system controls the electronic fuel injection and ignition systems. with a single spark plug per cylinder. Engine lubrication is via a dry-sump oiling system. This F355 recently underwent a major engine service. including the installation of Fabspeed headers and a quad Tubi exhaust system.

The car's standard seats are upholstered with hides from velvety Connolly Leather and are fitted asymmetrically in the car; this results in the driver being slightly closer to the car's centerline than the passenger. Those Nero (black) Connolly buckets are in very good shape. with just some overall minor wear. as expected from a car of this age and type. The matching black carpet is in excellent order. as is the black instrument panel. with its passenger air bag. The four-spoke black steering wheel houses the driver's air bag and looks great with its thick rim. The inner door panels. mirror glass. center console and shift lever all look fantastic. The manual shifter. gated shift plate. accelerator. brake and clutch pedals are finished in silver and help break up an otherwise monotone interior. Rounding out this interior is a Sony AM/FM stereo with a top quality McIntosh amplifier but with this engine and the ability to lower the top at will. what other music do you really need?

The Ferrari F355 (Type F129) is a sports car built by Ferrari from May 1994 to 1999. It is a mid-engine. rear wheel drive. V8-powered two-seat coupe. targa. or convertible. Design emphasis for the F355 was placed on significantly improved performance. as well as drivability across a wider range of speeds and in different environments (such as low-speed city traffic. )

The frame is a steel monocoque with tubular steel rear sub-frame with front and rear suspensions using independent. unequal-length wishbones. coil springs over gas-filled telescopic shock absorbers with electronic control servos and anti-roll bars. The car allows selection between two damper settings. “Comfort” and “Sport. ” Although the F355 was equipped with power-assisted steering (intended to improve low-speed drivability relative to the outgoing 348). this could optionally be replaced with a manual steering rack setup by special order.

The F355 Spider debuted in 1995. its Pininfarina-penned lines honed by 1. 00 hours in the wind tunnel. resulting in a blend of elegant style and aerodynamic performance. The car incorporates a Nolder profile on the upper portion of the tail. and a fairing on the underbody that generates downforce when the car is at speed.

For the first time on a Ferrari. the semi-automatic soft-top was powered electronically. Initially. the Spider was offered with the six-speed transmission. The Spider proved to be the second-most popular F355 model. with a total production of 3. 17 units. of which 2. 64 were produced with the six-speed transmission and another 1. 53 produced with the F1 transmission.

The nomenclature does not follow the formula from the previous decades. i. e. . engine capacity (in liters) followed by number of cylinders (e. g. 246 = 2. 4 liters. 6 cylinders. 308 = 3. 0 liters. 8 cylinders. etc. ). For the F355. Ferrari used engine capacity followed by the number of valves per cylinder (355 = 3. 5-liter engine capacity and five valves per cylinder) to bring the performance advances introduced by a five-valve per cylinder configuration into the forefront.

Total production of 11. 73 units made the F355 the most-produced Ferrari at the time. Documentation includes a clean CARFAX report and more than $32. 00 in maintenance and repair receipts. Payment Terms

Payment must be made by Cashiers Check. Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500. 00 must be received within Twenty-Four (24) hours of the auctions close either by Master Card. Visa. Discover or PayPal (Credit Cards or PayPal for deposit only NOT for full payment). Purchaser cannot make any claims of ownership to said vehicle without payment in full.
