1970 Mustang Mach 1 – Vin: 0F05M128106

This is a real deal “M” code. head turning. Ford muscle car that ticks off a lot of the boxes for those who love the blue oval's best looking year of Mach 1.

Red: check. spoiler: check. rear window slats: check. hood locks: check. hood scoop: check. 351 Cleveland with a four barrel Motorcraft carburetor: check. disc brakes: check. power steering: check. rallye wheels: check. . . . Starts with a turn of the key and runs great: double check!

Lots of new or near new items. from the correct yellow top coil. to the faux Autolite battery. shiny chrome bumpers. spark plug wires. spark plugs. Autolite oil filter. Autolite alternator. air cleaner. battery cables. console door. plaid trunk mat and tire cover. BFG RWL radials. trim rings. etc. etc.

This is a great looking car that must have lived a pretty good life. It tracks straight and the doors shut with ease. no drooping or rattles. Someone loved and took care of this red pony! The odometer reads 67. 87 but the title has no odometer reading listed. which the California dmv has a tendency to do with old cars. so it could be rolled over. I cannot say.

If you wanted to raise this mustang to another level; some good prep and paint work. and a new carpet would be a good start! The carpet has a small split on the floor mat. and the paint has some chips and imperfections as it was probably painted at least 10 years ago. and it could use a freshen up!

The floors are solid. and the body while surely not without some previous work throughout the last 47 years; appears in person as it does in these photos.

As shown in the photos there is a small tear in the drivers seat cover. It could be spot repaired by any good upholstery shop. or you could replace the seat cover. or use an adhesive to bond it. or drive as is.

The motor is a 351 Cleveland. I have not been able to find any matching serial numbers. so I will assume this is not the born with motor.

Overall this is a real nice Mach 1! It is fully registered in the state of California. has a clean. clear title. and is ready to rock!

Buy it now! Or like Marlon Brando in the Godfather said: “make me an offer I can't refuse”!
