1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

57 150 2dr sedanReal 150 with A in first letter in VIN. Also trim tag style 1211 shows its a true 150 sedan.   These are very rare hard-to-find cars most were either a Bel-Air or a 210. These are the ones people make black widow clones out of. This is a pretty straight solid Arizona car. Runs and drives nice. Rebuilt 283 with brand new m-21 Muncie close-ratio 4-speed. Engine rebuilt several years ago by previous owner. muncie less than 10 miles on rebuild. Has vintage SS Impala steering wheel and front bucket seats. Interior is in really nice condition but was done many many years ago. Front seats need remounted they are only in with a couple of bolts and really need some nice brackets fabbed up and mounted a little bit higher in my opinion. The brakes are the factory setup with new brake shoes and master cylinder but stops surprisingly well for being four wheel drum! Previous owner heated front springs and installed spring compressor to lower it so I had planned on putting drop spindles and front disc brakes on it. Primer spots are where previous owner primed over where old paint was flaking to keep it from getting surface rust. Would be an easy car to paint but I like it the way it looks now. Gets lots of Thumbs Up and turns heads! Clear Arizona Title in my name I know it's been in Arizona for over 30 years from the last two owners. Has a California frame. The only real rust I could see is were the rear floors were patched many years ago by a previous owner and I see a small spot of rust in the front floorboards but other than that trunk is solid. inner rockers and braces are solid and HAVE ZERO RUST NEVER PATCHED. Doors open and close nice and windows roll up and down. All glass good but driver side rear has a crack and I believe there's a small BB hole in front windshield. This is a car you can fix up as you drive or leave it as it is or do a complete restoration on it. Brand new rear boss wheels &tires 20s on rear 18s up front. I put a brand new gas tank and sending unit in it. recently blew out the lines. changed the oil. installed new battery. air cleaner. valve covers. chrome high output one wire alternator. brand new rear wheels tires. rebuilt muncie trans. I was going to drive it for a daily until I found a 55 Chevy I really wanted. Currently brake lights and tail lights are not working for some reason but headlights work so will need some electrical work. It will need a little bit of TLC but it is a great running driving nice Arizona car that you can fix up as you drive or perfect car for frame off resto.
