 We are very pleased to present for your consideration one of the most important post-war Rolls-Royce. the Phantom V with special Sedanca de Ville coachwork by James Young Coachbuilders. design # PV22 SD.

Martin. Bennett and other major auto historians all agree that the PV Sedanca is "the epitome of elegance". "magnificence" "essence of elegance" and other accolades.   Even at the time James Young was accorded many gold medals for this design.   Only seven of this design were made. so needless to say they are rare and sought after by collectors.   It is an "A" rated classic.

This particular example is in pristine show condition having won First In Class and Best of Show awards at major concours events.   Paint. chrome. leather. headliner. trunk etc. are in show condition.   It is complete with all tools. crystal. leather accessories. owner's manual. etc.   The wood in this car is beyond magnificent.   The car also comes with some original rare James Young literature that would be difficult to find today.   Everything on the car is in outstanding working order; there is nothing to do but enjoy.   The exterior is the original James Young Midnight Blue with beige leather front and James Young striped wool to the rear compartment.   The car is fitted with special burl wood cabinets and a unique rear arm rest with burl wood interior and fitted leather personal accessories.   The division is in the most magnificent matched burl wood we have ever seen form division window to floor.

This car was the London show car for James Young and Rolls-Royce in 1960.   It was purchased by a VIP for both Rolls-Royce and James Young. Mrs. Elsie Tritton.   The car resided at the Tritton's 2100 acre estate in the south of England until it was sold to J. Seward Johnson. chairman of Johnson & Johnson in the United States.

A two-inch thick leather bound history book accompanies this car with photos of the car nearly new. build sheet. correspondence between Mrs. Tritton and James Young. photo of the original chauffeur. etc.   The history book is very complete and all owners are known from new.
