1975 BMW 2002

This 1975 BMW 2002 has been garaged its entire life. and is one of the finest examples around of this model/year with its original beautiful Sahara Brown paint and original windows. The engine has been completely rebuilt. and has less than 35. 00 miles on it. The four-speed has been replaced with a Getrag five-speed manual transmission. with a new 228mm clutch. The front seats are Recaro. and both the F & R seats have been reupholstered. All the bad rubber including the door seals has been replaced. Additional facts: car is lowered with Eibach Springs F &R. Gas adjustable shocks F & R. Larger sway bars F & R. Urethane bushings throughout suspension. Ansa Full Flow Exhaust. 320I radiator for maximum cooling. New Weber 32/36 DGEV Carburetor. VDO Gauge Package. AM-FM Radio/Cassette Player. Front. Mid & Rear Speakers. Momo Monte Carlo Steering Wheel. Fire extinguisher in cabin. Interior is in good order: dashboard has no cracks. excellent factory BMW glass. no tears or rips in headliner. F & R Coco Mats. . ll lights. all instrumentation work (speedometer needs adjustment). Hella front Fog Lights with covers (not hooked up). European Lighting Systems with Rear Fog Lamp. Factory New BBS 14 X 6 Wheels. Pirelli P4000 Super Touring 185X60 R14 tires with good tread left. car tracks straight. stops straight. and accelerates very well. Extra parts go with car including. full spare tire. jack. & books. Seller disclosures:

1.    The driver seat. although reupholstered. has a very small bit of wear (about an inch or two). on the trim near the door. It probably happened from me getting in and out of the car. but should be easy for you to get repaired. I will also give you some sheep skin seat covers that I “think” will fit these seat. but no guarantee. The sheep skins came with this car when I first purchased it when it had 2002 front seats in it that I replaced with the much better Recaro seats. The seats (F & R). 5 speed transmission and clutch came from Aardvark Racing. The front seat also come with a lower lumbar adjustment. That is what the rubber bulb you would squeeze that you will see in the pictures is for.  
2.    You will see in one picture one of the side bumper strip on the driver's side is a little
pushed in at one end. hardly noticeable. and I have a replacement part. but have not bothered to install it because the one on there now really is OK to me.
3.    The radio works. but the cassette player eats cassettes. You will probably want to get
yourself a nice radio. I made the wooden piece the radio fit into myself. It had a CD changer in the trunk. but it stopped working so I took it out.
4.    The red engine fan has a little damage to it. but works just fine. I have a new replacement fan to give so all you have to do is change it out with the old one. It is a pretty tight squeeze though between the the fan and the radiator. By the way. the radiator comes from a 320 and is a little larger (better I am told) than a regular 2002 radiator.
5.    The radiator I just mentioned has a few minor scrapes in it from the fan. but works
perfectly well. This is what caused the minor damage to the fan when we put the car back
together after my mechanic rebuilt the engine. We had to stabilize the radiator with brackets at the bottom to prevent it from making any movement.
6. The speedometer that came with this car was broken. and is replaced with another. but this replaced one is off by about 20 miles per hour. It will be very easy to get this calibrated for around $100. 00 or so.
7. Just installed a new battery and fuel pump.  The dash has covers for it held on by Velcro Tabs to protect it from the sun. and has no cracks or damage to it.   Also. the interior roof liner is beautiful. no damage. 8. These are special wheels. not the factory wheels. The spare wheel  may be a factory wheel. I am not sure. Yes. this comes with the tire kit. including a jack and tool to get off the lug nuts.
