You wouldn't find a better example of this sixth generation Toyota Corona CS XT130 model. For the past 37 years. the car has been driven only 124700 kms. All non-coastal years. no rust. Owned by a single owner for most of its life. I am only the second owner.
Always garaged and tirelessly maintained. the car is in immaculate condition. The paint throughout is in fabulous form. There is a dent in the back as shown in the photos. Minor scratches are on the sides are also visible.
The engine is in excellent condition. with a manual 4 speed gearbox. There is plenty of power available out of the 1. 9L 4 cylinder Holden engine. (Toyota Australia at that time manufactured these sedans using 1. 9-litre Holden Starfire engines. badged in Toyota engine terminology as the 1X. coupled with a four-speed Borg-Warner 505. )
Inside. you'll find a manual-tuning radio supplied by Philips. along with a cassette player. The car is also equipped with a defogger. heater. a cigarette lighter and dashboard lights dimmer switch. There is a digital clock and warning lights for various events. including seat belts.
The wheels have the original rims in excellent condition. The tyres have about 70% tread.
The upholstery is in pristine state. except for some wear and tear along the top of the back seats. The roof lining is perfect. Door upholstery is also in mint condition.
Mechanically. the car is sound with nothing to spend on. This car does not drive like its 37 years old. you'd be surprised when you take it for a test drive.
Original manuals that came with the car are available as well. This is a rare chance to own a vintage car in such a fantastic condition. You could call it fully restored/ preserved if you get the dent in the back repaired.
Rego paid until February 2018. almost 12 months. A roadworthy certificate will also be supplied.
