Lotus Excel. /p>

1985 model.

Just brought it out of it's winter hibernation. Started first time.

Needs a new owner as I don't use it and other projects are taking the garage space.

 

Over the past 5 years I've done most things to it.

Replaced the headlining. fuel pipes. recon brakes all round. engine rebuild. new clutch . clutch master and slave. central locking re-vitalised . alarm fitted. recon radiator. steering pipes replaced. exhaust partially replaced. diff oil seals done. All in an attempt to keep it mainly original.

Wheels have been colour matched to the car.

Velour trim in cream . with leather strips. Matching leather dash.

Deep red paint.  

A nice car to drive. turns heads.

Box full of receipts. nbsp;some old MOT's which appear to historically tie in with the mileage. And the all important Lotus workshop manual (with my notes added!)

 

Just it sits there looking at me and doesn't get used anymore. Which won't do it any good.

Needs a Lotus enthusiast to pamper it.
