The current owner has asked us to sell it for him and describe the various issues that need to be taken care of before it can truly bring in top dollar. Our client bought this car with every intention of fixing it up accordingly. Two things prevented that from happening. First. a garage to work on it in. and second. money. Best things first. The 400ci engine runs great. and she drives great. The odometer shows 80k plus. The interior of the car is in relatively good shape. It's obvious that she has always been a driver and was used the way it should be. Personally. I happen to think that the gold color scheme works perfectly with the wheels. soft top. and interior. The soft top us in great shape and works perfectly. Body wise. the car shows no signs of damage. the paint has held up remarkably well and shines the way it should when washed. The underside of the car could use some cleaning. The undercoating they used from that factory was never a favorite of mine. If you sign up for our newsletter. you will receive email updates on new cars we have listed. as well as progress reports on several restoration jobs. One in particular happens to be a 66' Malibu SS Convertible. We cleaned the entire undercarriage and turned it into a high gloss black work of art. This same process needs to carry over to Lemans. There were some very small pinholes in the trunk area. In order to prevent water from entering. the owner plugger them up with silicone. These holes are very small. however. if it were my car. I would replace the pan. Other areas under the car are suggested maintenance items. such as. bushings. suspension. etc. There's a new starter. new fuel tank and lines. new carb. . new intake manifold. We have receipts for about $5. 00 in parts. From a scale rating system. I would give this car a solid 7. 30 hours of labor and a few hundred dollars in parts. this car could be an 8. 5 all around. It's a GTO in every sense of the word. with the exception price. Vehicle Photos: Vehicle Warranty:

This vehicle will be sold "as-is" and does not come with a warranty of any kind.

When selling a Classic car. or buying one. do so with respect. We don't sell used cars. we sell pieces of art. If after buying a Classic car from you. you feel as if you were cheeted out of a few dollars. we didn't do our job. We both have to feel as if we received a "fair" deal. We understand all too well. that the car you are selling. or consigning has some sort of significant meaning to you. or a family member of yours.  The Shop Cars we have for sale are my personal cars. When buying a car from us. we will help facilitate transportation anywhere in the World. One of the most misunderstood components of buying a car out of your immediate area that needs transporting. is the cost. We can ship a car from Washington State to Holland. for less than what it takes to ship a car to New York City. We recently shipped a 1958 Corvette to Holland for $1. 50 door to door.   We shipped a 1936 Packard Convertible Coupe. for $2. 50 door to door to New York City.   We list all consignment cars with a minimum of 10 Classic car sales sites. including eBay. and our own website www. jimsclassicgarage. com. Please sign up on our site for updates on all cars we have for sale. and watch videos of our restoration projects on our website or YouTube. What makes our online sales so successful. is that we photograph cars as if we are buying them ourselves. It's not necessarily the quality of the pictures. it's where/what we take the pictures of. 60% of all pictures are of the undercarriage. Selling 99% of all cars outside the State of Washington. we have to be able to depict the car correctly online. and in the exact condition that it's in. Transparency in selling our cars is why we are so successful. Having a 100% approval rating with eBay buyers and sellers helps.
