1961 Auto Union 1000S Coupe for sale

This is a high quality 3 cylinder two stroke in very good condition. with the now very rare Saxomat gearchange. The bodywork is in exceptional condition except for part of the front bumper which needs rechroming. The car was restored over 10 years ago whilst in Germany. Recent brake overhaul and the car drives as it should. UK registered with V5C. MoT till March 2014 and taxed till April 2014 (free). The car always attracts a lot of interest at classis car shows due to its rareity beautiful lines and the unmistakable sound of the two stroke engine. The interior is in good original condition but does need some repair to back seat upholstery. All in all. a lovely unusual useable clasic car. Original handbook and workshop manual. The car comes with a few spares and a correct period radio (not installed).
