This auction is for a package deal of TWO (2) 1973 Camaro's:

-1973 Camaro RS (Rally Sport) 350

•             manual transmission

•             Split bumper

•             purchased in Buffalo. NY in 1995

•             VIN: 1Q87H3N146048

 -1973 Camaro 350

•             automatic transmission

•             purchased in San Diego. CA in 2001

•             VIN: 1Q87K3N131200

Both cars I purchased from the original owners. fully assembled and fully functioning. I drove the LT home from California in 2001. The RS was purchased locally and ran well prior to taking it apart in 1995.

Both cars have been untouched since 2003 and so a full inspection and restoration of the engines. etc. will without a doubt be required to ensure all components are properly restored to 100%.

Many of the pictures were taken in 2016 to show the current states (year on pic represents when taken). I have well over a hundred pictures of all the individual items for the cars. but unfortunatlely limited on eBay.

I began restoring the RS in 1995. but I joined the military and was unable to finish the project. I purchased the LT in hopes of expediting the restoration. but ran out of time to complete the project due to military obligations. The RS was fully taken apart (except the transmission and engine was kept intact). The LT was kept as a running chassis with the hope of a quick restoration. The original parts and the new parts that were purchased have been in storage since 2003.

Every part that was removed from the cars is kept in the home. including the two factory original spare tires. to give a sense of the completeness of the cars.

As viewable in the pictures. the RS was kept outside due to the unfortunate lack of storage space. ALL of the RS parts were kept inside the home with the exception of the items in the pictures (Engine. manual transmission. steering wheel assembly). The black interior parts are all from the RS. The interior plastic was and is in excellent condition (just need to be cleaned). The passenger seat is in excellent condition. The driver seat needs to be restored. The RS instrument cluster tachometer gauge did not function when I purchased the vehicle. unknown if the cause is the gauge or the wiring to the unit; all other items of the instrument cluster worked. The original hood and fenders were not touched and are shown in the pictures. The black headliner is included. but the leather was removed from the cardboard backing from age.

The LT was kept in a drive-in basement. The car was kept as a rolling chassis (i. e. you could drive it). The car was last started in 2003. but has not been touched or started at all since 2003. The original color of the LT was a pale yellow. The interior plastic (yellow) was not as nice as the RT. but it is included. The underside of the LT was in classic California condition (i. e. undercoated. rust free and solid. Very nice). This car was kept inside vice the RS which is inherently more valuable. due the better condition of the body and the hope to keep it that way. The exterior of the rear body and roof were stripped of paint and were not finished. The blue color is from being hand painted with Extend rust preventer. Both cars originally had vinyl tops and the exterior of the LT roof was pitted enough that I wanted to replace the sheet metal. My intention was to replace the roof. but ran out of time and money to finish that job.

The parts of the cars that were restored and painted consisted of sandblasting EVERY metal component prior to prep for paint. The items were primed and then painted. The paint that I used is in one of the pictures. The sub frame and A-frames of the RS were removed. sand blasted. acid etched prior to painting. and painted (in 1995). The fenders. hood. and trunk were painted in 2002.

NEW items include. but not limited to: Two (2) fenders (painted shunt safety yellow in pictures). stainless steel brake lines. cowl-induction hood (painted yellow as well). nickel coated headers (but I put them on the RS outside and so they have lost their entire coating). RS nose piece (poly urethane). black carpet. trunk and door seals. new emblems (trunk. hood. RS. etc. ). factory assembly manual.

My intention was to finish the cars. but military obligations resulted in not having the time to finish them and unfortunately. Overhaulin' was never able to make it to this part of the East coast!

Both cars are being sold as-is.

Buyer is responsible for a $500 non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of the winning bid.

Buyer is responsible for pickup (or packing and shipping) of ALL car parts and BOTH cars. Vehicles are located in Western New York.
