1965  'c' code mustang convertible with automatic transmission and power steering.  Entire drivetrain is original. Engine was built November 8. 1964 . 19 days before the car was built. This car has been off of the road since 1977 but has been stored inside the entire time. The only rust on the body is shown in close up pictures. the bottom lip of each quarter panel and a small place on the lower outside front of passenger door and back of passenger fender. The lower cowl panel appears solid and the heater box is as well. There is a small (quarter size) hole on the outside of the hood. It appears that a tire may have been laying on the hood for some time which somehow caused that rust. All panels appear original with the exception of passenger fender. The seats are decent and the dash is in perfect condition. To my knowledge the only items missing are the carburetor and driver interior door panel. It looks like the tail light panel was pushed in at some point and poorly repaired. Mostly it looks like it was just hammered back out. Front and rear frame rails look good as do the rear torque boxes. Front torque boxes will need repaired or replaced. Inner rockers will need to be replaced and the area under the battery tray has rust as well. Firewall look good but it will need a floor panel. Transition pan is solid. All glass is there but the windshield has a crack. I have an original windshield that can go with the car. It is not cracked but has some fogging around the edges. Convertible top frame is in good shape. The engine will not turn by hand so the condition is unknown. This car rolls and steers and I will be happy to help with loading. Please feel free to ask any questions. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction ending and full payment within 7 days
