1970 Morris Minivan Classic Austin BMC Van Full MOT for sale

Reluctantly. I have for sale my 1970 Morris Minivan. with full MOT & tax (free)

I purchased it in 2011. but have since moved house. and do not have as much room for my collection of classics. so she has to go.

It was first registered on 17th July 1970 - I believe this was in Bristol. as there is still a dealer sticker in the rear window. and on the heater flap.

I bought her from a gentleman whose friend had bought her in 2009.   He too cherished her. keeping her in a heated garage. and using her on dry days. attending local shows in Yorkshire.

Since purchasing the Minivan. I have covered around 650 miles. without issue. on classic road runs and picnics. etc.   She has always been garaged.

The Minivan is great fun to drive. and puts a smile on everyone's face . even my wife's !!! 

The bodywork is straight. and is in great condition from top to bottom. with no rust.   There are some very minor blemishes. but this is to be expected on a vehicle of this age.   The interior is in great condition. with new carpets. door cards and soundproofing.   The load bed is also in great condition.
It drives superbly. with precise steering. great handling. good performance and great brakes.   At some point. discs have been fitted on the front.
The engine bay and mechanicals are also in great condition. and I suspect the engine may have been swapped to a 1000cc unit. although I cannot be certain. as it seems to pull much better than an 850cc should !

It has all the correct period features. with the "magic wand" gear lever. steel commercial grille. centre speedo etc.
The chrome work is in superb order. with added bumper over-riders and headlight peaks.

The Minivan has just flown through its MOT.

Overall. this is a great little commercial. in superb condition.   It will drive anywhere. with complete reliability. and I will be sad to see her go.

Delivery can be arranged at extra cost if required.

The vehicle is advertised elsewhere. so may be withdrawn from auction at anytime.
