Nissan Skyline Executive GX Wagon R31 1989

It is a four speed auto which shifts nicely and the engine runs well. has good and even compressions although it doesn't sound great with the holy centre muffler. has cold air conditioning. the body and paint are in good shape for an old girl. the interior and seats are not perfect but very usable.   Brand new front/rear discs and pads are fitted that haven't even been bedded in. New nolathane sway bar bushings.   Has new engine air filter.   All the lights work apart from one of the LH inner high beam.

The not so good things. /p>

There are five different tyres on the standard rims. some rust on the front fenders behind the wheels although the structure is good behind them. the exhaust centre muffler needs replacing as the pipe leading into it has cracked. it looks like a factory exhaust.  The odometer and trip meter stopped working on the trip down from Sydney but the speedo still works along with all the other gauges.  The windshield is cracked. the windshield and rear window washer motors have died.   The radio antenna is broken off and the JVC (aftermarket) radio/cd player lights up but no sound comes out of the speakers.

The car was purchased in Sydney and used as a daily driver by a buddy of mine. then he headed south to Melbourne with a new job in 2014.   This is where I met him.   The car was garaged and he used public transport to and from work.   He fitted new discs and pads. fuel lines. air filter and sway bar bushes with the intention to use as a weekend toy and track day car.   Then guess what. last year the guy has a job offer in the UK he can't refuse (he's a mechanical engineer).   So he needs to quit the car plus other associated parts. nbsp; I buy the lot off of him with the great idea of doing the track car thing myself. but good intentions have gone to waste as other projects have got in the way.   So its time to quit the old dear so that I don't have to shove the old dear out in the weather where it will only deteriorate.

Also for sale is a VL Commodore RB30 Long Engine (non turbo but with the necessary ports in cylinder block to supply turbo feed).   The engine has done less than 100. 00km.   The engine and parts were purchased to fit a turbo to the engine 'as is' and go into the R31 Skyline which would be used as an occasional driver/track day car.
