MG B Roadster Convertible with Overdrive, 1981 One-Family Owned Since New

This very nice. original MG B Roadster has been owned since new by just one family.
It was bought new by the Father in October 1981 from Beers of Houghton. Cambridgeshire. so is a very late Overdrive model. It came from new with the upgraded 'LE' (Limited Edition) alloy wheels as an optional extra. It was later passed on to one son. and then the second son. so has only had 3 registered keepers since new. and the mileage we believe to be correct at just 65. 00.
It really does drive superbly and brings an instant smile to your face. and the unmolested plastic bumper models are increasing rapidly in popularity.
There are lots of bills and virtually all old mot's. There is also a hand written document from the family profiling the cars history.
The shell is very. very good with no rot that we can find. The engine and gearbox are very nice and smooth and it starts instantly with no nasty noises.
The Hood is very good having been recently replaced. and the LE alloy wheels really set off the appearance. There is a toneau cover and a half toneau. there is also a very unusual period hardtop to go with the car. and a roll bar fitted for safety.
The only fault we can pick is the door gaps are not very good at the rear of the doors. which can be seen in the pictures. this appears to stem from cills being fitted many years ago as there is a written note about it in the history. This does not affect the driveability of the car at all and could be easily rectified if you chose to.
