HERE IS A GREAT LOOKING 1974 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA THAT HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO A 70 CUDA 440 SIX-PACK. WITH 32K MILES ON THE ODOMETER THAT IS TURN-KEY AND READY TO DRIVE ANYWHERE!

Please e-mail me with questions or to set up an inspection to see the car in person. AUCTION MAY BE STOPPED AT ANY TIME.

Vehicle came out of North Carolina. Previous owner always wanted a "V-code" 70 cuda with a 440 six pack but could never afford one. so he built one himself. The donor car was a 74 Barracuda with a stock 318 that was transformed into a 70 cuda with the addition of the 70 grille. 70 bumpers. 70 rear tail panel and tail lights. and a few other accents here and there. The front end was also lightened with fiberglass fenders and hood to give it a "lightweight racer" feel. Motor was replaced with a 440/375hp Magnum V8 and a Six-Pack setup was installed to make this car what it is today. Older amateur restoration on the body to a good driver. Recently had the seats redone. installed NEW exhaust/mufflers. and NEW gas tank among other things.

Body is VERY STRAIGHT with excellent original gaps. Doors open and close nicely. Body does NOT appear to ever have been in any major collision.

OPTIONS:

Power steering

Power DISC front brakes

Vinyl roof

Rally wheels

440ci/375hp Magnum V8 with 6-Pack setup

Automatic 727 Torque-Flite transmission w/Pistol Grip handle

8 3/4" rear end

Standard bucket seat interior

Bulge hood

Rear spoiler

Dual exhaust

Under the hood lies a 440ci Magnum V8 engine with Edelbrock aluminum 6-pack intake and 3 2bbl. carburetors as well as the stock air cleaner setup. Also upgraded were the radiator which is an aluminum racing one. and full length headers into dual exhaust. Mechanically it fires right up and sounds great along with the nice and throaty exhaust system. The 727 TorqueFlite transmission is solid and shifts great without any noises or grinding from the 8 3/4" rear end. I drive the car about once every other week for short trips around down or every once in a while I'll take it to a cruise night on the highway. It has never let me down and always performs great.

Interior is basically all stock and in presentable driver quality shape.  Door panels in good shape. Dash is good with new "dash cap" over original one. Good console. Seats in good shape throughout. Carpet is worn and needs replacing. but still presentable.  Good headliner.  Overall fairly presentable for a driver.

The old girl is NOT perfect by any means of course so please keep that in mind when bidding. Paint is in FAIR/DECENT shape throughout. and although it looks good from 20 feet. it has a lot of small imperfections and a good amount of orange peel that I did my best to wetsand and buff. Trunk pan was amateurly patched with new sheetmetal and is solid but should be redone with correct panels. Missing: spare/jack. door weather-stripping. some smaller odds and ends that I can't remember right now. Not working: a couple of gauges disconnected. horn. perhaps a bulb or two may need replacing. I am sure there are many other things the car needs.

So overall she is not perfect but she's DAMN NICE and FUN CRUISER!.  Please note. I cannot remember every single issue with the car. nor do I know everything wrong with it. as it is after all over 45 years old so keep that in mind.

If you just want a GOOD LOOKING TURN-KEY DRIVER then this is the car for you. If you want a show car. it will need some work to bring it up to that level of course.  I ENCOURAGE ANYONE BIDDING OR SERIOUSLY INTERESTED TO COME LOOK AT IT IN PERSON. I WILL BE GLAD TO SHOW IT TO YOU TOP TO BOTTOM SO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO.
